Inexcusable sequence there at the end of the game. Who's it on.......... HC? OC? QB? Whomever it was, they ROBBED defeat from the jaws of victory with that sequence. If I was the owner of the team, I want an explanation from all three I mentioned to make sure that they are better prepared for the next time it happens. Teams lose games. I totally get that and can live with that, but you have a MAJOR hand in the way you lost the game, it's inexcusable. Settled for the Norwood kick? They had to go 60 yards with 2:10 on the clock and NO timeouts just to give Norwood a shot. Against a great D. Find something else to compare to yesterday's disaster.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
njbuff replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I just tried to watch "The Five" again and I remembered why I don't watch it any more. Juan Williams is an OBVIOUS political stooge and he lies to your face every chance he gets. I know FOX pays him to be the Democratic hack on that stage and I get that, but, good grief, he is unbearable to listen to. It brings me back to the same question in general...................... Is there ANYONE in the Democratic Party that is even-keeled and has a brain? ANYONE? -
What Vet Qbs and Back-Ups to Look at in Off-Season
njbuff replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe if the coaching staff would get Singletary 20-30 touches a game, Josh and the offense might look a lot better. For good grief, I don’t know how the coaching staff doesn’t see this and makes this the identity. This Singletary kid is a TD maker. Look at how he did this in college and how he has translated it to the pros. This staff is trying to make a young Allen into A young Marino when Allen doesn’t have the Mark’s brothers to throw to. There are 7 games to go. Feed Singletary until he pukes. And what I have just mentioned folks.......... IS THE BEST FRIEND to a young QB trying to develop in the NFL and become a star. -
Week 11: Bills at Dolphins - Spread: Bills -6.5
njbuff replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Miami is failing at tanking, so they might as well try to be Buffalo, their most hated rival. On a Monday following a loss, here is an idea for the Bills in Miami................. Establish a freaking identity and GIVE SINGLETARY THE BALL. -
This team is still a year away
njbuff replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is ABSOLUTELY no guarantee that the Bills are a year away. You go for the brass ring every chance you get. Sometimes you just aren’t good enough to do it and right now this team is not good enough. It could change, then again maybe it won’t. The have been millions of teams with expectations that they are a year away, and guess what????? That year never comes. The Bills need to be better THIS YEAR. Next year isn’t here yet and it very well might not come........ success wise, that is. -
When exactly have the Bills won an easy game?

Bob Kalsu missing on SNF - A disgrace
njbuff replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one knows who he was/is. That’s why. I’m not trying to be harsh, it’s just the reality. -
A team team down by 4 going right down the field for the winning TD with 5 minutes left in the game. Where have a seen this before? Edit- maybe the Vikes can do something the Bills didn’t do......... stop em.

We should know all about that.

Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem

At least they punted well today. ? -
These officials need to keep their flags in their pockets or they should be taught by the ret@rds that teach them to do so. Either way, I’m tired of teams getting bailed out on third and longs by ticky tack garbage calls.

The same old names - Star, Wallace & Lee Smith
njbuff replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lee Smith should NEVER see the field as an NFL player ever again. Star should be playing limited, at best. And Wallace needs to be schemed better. -
Miami is hotter than Buffalo right now.......... literally. ? Plus we know Miami is terrible at one thing........ tanking. LOL ?

When you allow teams to run the ball on you, it really limits your offensive possessions, not that it matters with this team anyways. It shouldn’t have come down to the final defensive drive, but it is what it is. Once I saw the replay of the Hughes return, I knew the Bills goose was cooked on this game. Move on to Miami.

Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem

I go back to the ridiculousness at the end. If the Bills don’t fix that moving forward, this regime can forget about ever winning anything of significance. Most games come down to the wire and if you don’t go for the win, you almost NEVER win. You think Joe Montana and Bill Walsh wanted to settle for a tying FG in the SB against Cincinnati? This is my biggest problem with today’s result. Teams lose games all the time. I get that. In general, I’m not that upset with today’s loss. It’s not going for the win when it’s right there for the taking.............. is what should piss us all off. -
This loss could be the start of the collapse (schedule talk)

Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem
njbuff replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe they will learn something from this loss.................. Like, playing for the WIN instead of trying to go to OT when the win is staring you in the face if you try for it. I could see if going for the FG is the only option. Mind numbing, but maybe they learn from it. -

Teams lose games, I get that. But when does it come time to go for wins instead of not trying to lose? Not going for the win BURNED the Bills today. Will McDermott learn from this or continue Jauron Ball 2.0? -
Bills at Browns Post Game Post Mortem
njbuff replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He didn't play great, but I am not putting this loss on him whatsoever. But, does he hold any responsibility for that last shytstain of a 3rd down sequence? That is my biggest gripe for this loss, the lack of urgency on that final fatal 3rd down sequence. -

Someone needs to explain what happened on that last 3rd down sequence. Even a pee wee football player knows to hurry the frig up. -

Why the F were they huddling on that last 3rd down. Mind boggling.
