I mean, what was the margin of error for Allen today? That was as perfect a game as I've seen from a QB in years - probably since the Pats playoff game. It came down to an onside kick.
-
The game was in doubt until the onside kick recovery.
-
I'm surprised by the negative reactions to the OP. That game should have been done by the time the 4th quarter started. Instead, we were all sweating out that onside kick at the end. Think about it. How is this a response?
-
I mean, people are saying the Lions are the best O - but we gave up 42 points. We did nothing against them defensively. Nothing.
-
Why, oh why - do we need him to put on the cape every single game? C'mon, coaches. Step UP.

We look like the best team today. Not the best-coached though. -

I'm so sickened by that playcalling at the 1. Josh is going to bail these coaches out - but they don't deserve it. -
The playcall CAUSED THAT.
-
This coaching staff always comes up short. The way Allen is playing, this game should be over.
-
Better playcalling & game management when we're on the 1. Enough excuses for this staff. That was a choke.
-
So let's ignore that we could have put the game away.
-
This coaching staff is not ready for primetime. Always.
-
I can't get over how stupid that was. Coaching completely letting Allen down, again, in real time.
-
The coaching staff choked there. That's a big, big choke - again. Why do they get cute?
-
Brady let the criticism about last week's sneak affect a completely different situation this week.
-
I mean, this is my issue w/ the staff. Josh gets an easy TD there, but we get fancy. But last week against the Rams, we sneak in the exact same position, and lose the game because of it.

Around the NFL Week 15 (no Bills talk in this thread please)

KC's luck is unstoppable. -
Defense is built to stop average and below offenses.

Their offense simply isn't good this year. Wideouts are relatively easy to cover compared to past years. -

Fully agree w/ the OP. I think the better QB's and offenses can pick apart the kind of zone we play fairly easily. It's troubling, because obviously, once you get to the playoffs - it's mainly better QB's and offenses. -
I love how Rapp has been playing - but I'm ready for a full Cole Bishop game. It's like any other rookie w/ this team. Bernard hardly had any snaps his rookie season, then he's amazing in year 2. He could have started his whole rookie season - I'm sure there would be mistakes, but these guys are talented. McD is way too conservative w/ that. He wants it to be too perfect.
-
I don't see it as THAT unlikely. The law of averages & all that - every game for them has been tight. Maybe it's a "they know how to win the close ones!" thing, but I don't see how they make a guy's foot go out of bounds by an inch, or make a FG kicker miss a chip shot.
-
Is it me, or has Douglas not been playing as well as he did last year? I'd actually be kind of interested to see what Elam can do in a full game, if that's their plan. Rapp is the only big loss here if he can't play, imo. He's a real playmaker. But I'd also love to see Bishop get some more experience.
-
I'm starting to get a complex & think that every team happens to have their best game against us.
-
We got the right Josh.

Would you sign up right now for a Buffalo at Kansas City AFCCG?
Success replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, for sure. I don't want to avoid them. We have to slay that dragon - doing that will make a title much more likely, imo. It would instill so much confidence, like, we finally did it - let's close the deal now.
