Success

It will likely be a close game, and I wish I had more confidence in our coaching when it comes to close games. I'm still rattled by how we managed to beat ourselves yet again last week in the closing minutes.

Who isn't in this camp?

He still reminds me of Trubisky. He really had one nice throw today. It was a great throw, but he also took sacks & threw picks. First game, though. He might end up being alright.

The staying power of someone in the crowd with a "D" and then an actual fence isn't talked about enough. We're talking decades now.

Eh - I don't think all circumstances are similar. Given the quality of play around the league, the Bills have a shot this year - but not w/ their current WR corps. That will be an Achilles Heel all season long unless they do something. Either trade for an upgrade and give yourself a chance - or maintain the status quo, and probably look at another early exit in the playoffs. Adams would make a huge difference for this team.

I only eat PB&J grilled now. Give it a shot if you've never tried it that way. Usually pure peanut butter for me - all natural. I prefer strawberry jam, not jelly. Never jelly, for the sake of pete. Bread can vary - white or wheat always works.

There is a "Josh Allen is trash" debate? Where?

Adams is one of the top receivers in the league, even at his age - he would change this offense tremendously. Allen hasn't had a guy like him to throw to. Diggs is a great receiver, but he can't do some of the things Adams can do. I don't think we're getting him, but if we did, it changes the season, imo.

These are positive developments. I have a hunch all of these guys will play on Monday.

It's gotta be Cooper. And that would be a great pick-up for us. He'll be cheaper, too.

I wonder why Adams would say no to a generational QB. Is he still mad at Rapp? The cold? The other teams in the mix are much less likely to contend for a title.

We are the least spoiled fans in the history of sports.

Glad we at least get an extra day w/ the injuries we have. At least we haven't lost anyone for the season - but man, that injury bug seems to get us every year.

I mean, people say we're more than 1 player away - but I'd disagree. Adding someone like Adams changes the way DC's would have to prepare. We simply don't have a guy like that right now. Defenses would have to put more focus on him, and it would open up the rest of the offense - Shakir is a more natural #2, Samuel #3, and so on. The league would not enjoy seeing this headline.

I didn't think it was going to be our year. But the state of the league over a month in has me believing that it could be. There really isn't a team we can't beat if we're on. I still say we win the Ravens game if not for that trick play call, and we are 50/50 to win against Houston at their place if we just don't pass the last 3 downs.

While I agree that we'll still put together a solid season "as is," it's pretty clear that we're lacking at WR right now. Coleman may develop more as the season goes on, but we have one of the weaker WR corps in the league and it will likely hold us back in the playoffs. I don't think trading a 2nd and maybe a player is a big deal in terms of holding us back in the future. We have more picks than usual next year. We can afford it.

If we're not in on Adams, I sure hope we're in on Cooper. It's fun to chant "Coooooop" too.

And if our coaching staff doesn't decide to pass from the endzone 3x, we're probably 4-1 and these guys are saying we're back on track by beating a top team in Houston on the road. Hot take city. We're not the best team in the league, but we're good & can be a contender by the end. We're breaking in a lot of new players.

2024: Mahomes has 6 TD's, 6 INT's. Allen has 10 TD's, 0 INT's. KC is winning. It's not golf.

Ridiculous reasoning. Why does Mahomes get a pass when there are a few injuries? Allen has had to work with sub-par talent most of his career here, and VERY sub-par coaching compared to Mahomes. And Allen was missing his #1 receiver last week too. You can think he's better. Lots of people do. But at worst, it's extremely close.

I think Maye could be good for them - but the Pats will never win the division as long as Allen is QB for the Bills.
