Its just so funny to me that every year we go through a signing like this. We have to bring 90 to camp and we need depth. He isn't going to be a main contributor. Its the same people who get upset because we don't sign top contributors every single time.

I do find this post confusing. Jones isn't an underperforming player but you're putting him in that bucket. Our offensive line prior to last year was underperforming. Does that mean we should have not kept Morse and Dawkins over the last few years?

Cam Lewis provides much more value than a day 3 draft pick or late stage FA. He is potentially our starting safety but also backs up all secondary spots. 2 million a year is worth that IMO.
