Josh Allen is on pace for 400 passing attempts this year which would be his lowest since his rookie year. That's a fact. Do you feel he will throw more later in the season? That's 100% yet. I think there's good indication we will still throw the ball a lot is because of how we opened up against the Jags. We only stopped throwing in the 2nd half. They want a strong running game because if we can't get anything going in the air, we still have another option. Years prior, when our air attack was shutdown, we shutdown.

I feel we are going to start seeing the raw stats many of us will see once we are in a real game. We haven't had to consistently throw the ball in any game this season. Allen would have thrown for at least 450 if the Jags could score... 28 attempts in the 1st half...what would he have done with 28 more in the second half? Same with the Dolphins game. Same for the 1st half of AZ. It's coming.

It's a league wide issue Einstein. It makes me laugh you go after peoples intelligence. It started trending that way a few seasons ago. Which is why it made sense now the Chiefs did trade Hill. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38378450/nfl-death-long-passing-deep-ball-aerial-yards-negative-trend "I had to learn when to just take what's underneath. That's something where I've kind of grown and matured. We'll call deep plays still all the time, but if defenses are going to play that deep, even though I want to in my heart of hearts to throw it downfield and make those big plays, I'll take the underneath stuff and find ways to move the ball down the field that way." The evolution of Mahomes' aerial attack mirrors a league-wide trend that last season saw the fewest number of deep balls attempted -- defined as traveling at least 15 air yards -- since 2006. continued from Barnwell: And while this isn't something brand new, I think defenses have gotten much better at masking what they want to do while hyper-focusing on picking apart the most static and predictable thing offenses have: their protections. And they're better at doing that while still staying sound in coverage than they have been in the past, in part because they're playing with more defensive backs.

If the production continues, how can it still be considered a weakness? Do any of those questions really matter if we have seeing this type of production? It's not like Allen is always throwing to tight windows because the WR's are blanketed. That last sentence to me is saying that you're never going to give the WR's credit even if this production continues. Brady isn't going to call a certain play if he feels he doesn't have the WR's to execute it and that includes getting open. We are spreading the ball out because both Allen and Brady trust the WR's on the field. Collectively they are good, or at least what they're showing now. Raw stats aren't the only thing that prove a player is good or not. But overall the league is down in passing. Mel Kiper makes a crazy comment to eliminate the Cover 2 because it's hurting the deep passing attack. Well we are adjusting to it and it seems like the FO is getting criticized for it.

Weather reports are looking better. These all can change but looking more promising early. https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/baltimore/21202/evening-weather-forecast/348707?day=3 <--- Accuweather says a couple of showers in the evening - .1 inch expected right now. https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Baltimore+MD?canonicalCityId=97ee60ad2fa1394922f97788b2d2dfe435f20295a5d38940a32e042a73f2d8c6 <-- Weather Channel is saying a few light rain showers. https://foxbaltimore.com/weather/maps <--- Local Fox Affiliate only gives it a 30% chance of rain right now. -
I still think you're overlooking the context. How many more catches would Shakir and other WR's have if we didn't have 2 blowouts and the 1st half against the Cards? If the Jags kept the game somewhat close, is it out of the realm of possibility that Shakir goes 10 catches/130/1 or 2 TD's? He was 6/72/1 TD when we didn't even throw the ball in the 2nd half. I will disagree with you on Shakir being quality. He's above quality....he's only had 14 targets so far. By the end of the season, Shakir will be up there with Amon Ra St. Brown for best interior WR in the league. I think Shakir is that good.

I had 3 trees come down. Two crashed through my fence in two different areas. The other clipped my roof on my shed putting a hole in it. This sucks but at least the Bills are 3-0 and will be alive when the go 4-0 this weekend. I will just listen to WGR and start cutting and think how lucky I actually am. -

It's amazing how we win when our McDermott sucks as a coach, Beane misses so much in the draft and Allen doesn't have any talent around him. -
You have to look at the context. AZ game, we threw the ball 5 times in the 1st half because our defense didn't get on the field. Miami game a blow out and Cook was going off. No need to pass the ball. Jags game, we were up 31 at half time. Allen threw 28 times in the 1st half with 254 yards passing. You don't get 254 yards passing when your WR's aren't good. I'm sorry. To say we lack the elite level WR's, yes, that's fair. To say we don't have good WR's, that's a bit much. Shakir isn't a quality WR, he's on the verge of becoming a great WR. But again, up by 31 at half time, no need to pass anymore. Allen was on pace to throw 56 times in the Jags game if the Jags had kept it somewhat in range.

What is absolutely hilarious is that there are posters who claim the Bills let bad teams hang around all the time and that's because our coaching doesn't get them prepared lol. We are the best in the league over the last 4 seasons NOT letting bad teams hang around. -
I played WR in high school and I ran faster with the ball in my hands. The reason was because I pretended I stole the ball from someone and they are now chasing me. If the Jags could have put up any sort of offense on Monday, Allen would have had 450 yards passing, 500 total yards and probably 6 TD's. He wasn't being stopped or even slowed down by the Jags. The only thing slowing our offense down was the score. Allen had two pass attempts in the second half because we were up by 4+ scores the entire half.

One thing I noticed on Monday is the energy. Last year, I went to the Giants SNF game where our offense sucked. Before the game, I was watching warm ups and looking at Dorsey. He was just pacing back and forth on the sidelines by himself. No head phones on, not interacting with anyone…just pacing. This past Monday, I am watching Brady and he is dapping everyone up, he is dancing, rapping the lyrics and just bringing energy. Im looking at Babich and its the same way. He’s as energetic as the players. Moving on from low energy Leslie Frazier and low energy Dorsey was the best decision this team made.

I trust Kincaid, Samuel and Skakir in that situation. If we continue to roll on offense with what we have, it's obviously working, so why mess with it? This is my personal take and opinion. Allen is playing more loose just because Diggs isn't here. He doesn't have to go to him X amount of times. We are hearing it in his press conferences. It's a relief to him. I wouldn't make any changes until it's needed.
