This video from Cover 1 breaks it down, multiple times he was good against the run but your "time shots in a highlight" video is stronger evidence or something? Do you know who doesn't know how to break down film? The person who says "time shots in a highlight video" as evidence. Here is just one example that was in the 40 minute video. And why is he only graded on the UTM plays? MLB can't play sideline to sideline or something? They can only be graded on 1/3 of the field? LOL

No it's not. There are more attacking style and more read and react style.

Aggressive doesn’t only mean more blitzing. Its dramatic to me the difference. Last year was more read and react from our DL….now its just pin your ears back and go.

I think this applies to most linebackers. If you have a 300+ lineman coming clean, he should win that battle nearly 100% of the time. I think what separates a good linebacker from a bad one is the speed of diagnosing plays. If there is a play to be made, they make it or effect it. Someone like Edmunds, I think was a big missed opportunity linebacker...its why he didn't make a lot of game changing plays.

Maybe you treat Tua like you did with Vick. Don't rush up field fast. Stay disciplined to keep him in the pocket to make plays there. But in this case, keep Tua in the pocket but the DL keeps their hands up. He's getting the ball out faster than anyone in the NFL so you don't need to attack him...just make him hold the ball a little longer. I would play a Cover 3 but one safety mans the middle. Two other safeties take away the deep ball. Just like your graph shows....take away the middle. Make him have to float that ball outside.

And we don't even have Von back. Groot and Oliver in the middle. Miller and Floyd on the edge. That is as dangerous a 3rd down pass rush as you will get in the NFL.
