Going Through WORST Possible Scenario With Allen
Matt_In_NH replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wrong. Might have been true under Wilson, not today. -
Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin

The Coleman money is awful, the Bills got a 3.2 million dollar cap it and lost a draft pick for......nothing! The signs were there, the way that guy handled himself.....talent with no work ethic is useless. -
How much blame does Daboll deserve?
Matt_In_NH replied to RosenNOTchosen1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am not sure its fair to put this on him, the QB's have not executed at all no matter what the call is. I do blame the coaches for concluding Peterman was the starter and McCarron was expendable. And Allen was ready when he was not. However one area where the Bills are close to the bottom in the league is holding, illegal formation and false starts. I think this is coaching, especially illegal formation. They need to get that crap cleaned up ASAP. -

That is my point, wr's dont matter until you have a QB. QB's can make WR's WR's cannot make a QB. Get a QB first. Even wiht bad WR's you should see signs Back on BBMB I saw a lot of this: Woods is just a blocker Goodwin is a glass doll who plays track Hogan is a lacrosse player who would not make other teams rosters Watkins is always injured and has no qb to throw him the ball. I know not everyone thought those things there was a narrative that WR was the problem. WR was not the problem then. Woods could put up great numbers with the right QB, he was not respected well by a lot of fans. While today's WR's dont measure up to those guys, I will still argue WR is not the problem. It starts with a quarterback who can give guys a chance. We dont have that right now. -

Other than Watkins who was injured people thought that group was trash. -
You stay classy, Patriots fans!

Agreed, the combination of the HC and 12 for 2 decades is remarkable that it lined up that way. I am just ready for it to be over though, it gets really old. BTW: what part of NH are you in? I am also in NH.... -

The Bills used to feel that way in the early nineties. That lasted probably 5-6 years.l This team is up to 18 years, it is ridiculous. The feel entitled because they are. Arrogant? yeah they are that too but that is true of people from Boston in general. I live in NE, the watercooler discussions you here are sickening. "Oh man if we lose this game we might not get home field advantage throughout the playoffs". Actually making the playoffs.....that is a given (100% certainty) but it is not something to aspire to. They are not at all happy with anything other than home field throughout. Even the second seed, they complain. Another one is "we should not play Gronk til the playoffs" or at the very least only play him in certain regular season games. This gets talked about a fair amount and I actually kind of agree. But what a luxury to know you can get to the playoffs and probably have a bye and home field while resting one of your best players. It is sickening. -
Hopkins against White: 2 catches 23 yards...
Matt_In_NH replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One was questionable. But if the Bills had Hopkins and the opposing DB had 3 holding penalties these boards would be talking about all the mugging that was not called. White is awesome, he should be in the pro bowl this year for sure. -

White also had three holding penalties on Hopkins.....have to consider that. But you want/need to be agressive against the great players. -

Are we saying Bills fans are classy and Patiots fans are not based on a couple peoples actions? Cause there is a lot of unclassy ammo from Bills Mafia -
Is Nate Peteman the worst QB in NFL history?
Matt_In_NH replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing I don't see discussed is that TD pass, right now I can't imagine Allen having made that pass and showed Zay Jones making a play when given a chance. We have two guys who cant process anything post snap, one does not care and just throws it to the first read no matter what the other is trying to read things but cant do it fast enough to execute. -
Long hair is not a strategic advantage

What’s next scratching the opponent to the ground? -
I want good decisions. If I call your all in with 2-7 and get lucky on the flop was my call correct?
-
I thought the one that counted was great because he threw in rhythm down the field with accuracy. but not sure about the first one. It was a busted play
-
No he was not in pain
-
A good result is great for the Team but a great result does not mean everyone made the right decsions.
-
I didn’t do that. Reread what I wrote. I have it on dvr. He just sat there with no emotion when the camera went to him after the td to Jones.
-
Nope he was sitting on the bench emotionless after the TD. Other times he was high fiving teammates. Just because a pass has a good result does not make it a great pass or read by the QB. The one called back was out of structure and definitely showed the arm but I would not call that one great. The 39 yarder that counted was a nice pass for sure. Longer than 5 yards, like 6 or 7? He had some RAC....regardless it was routine. I dont remember Zay dropping one but I believe you.
-
For the completions I think that is true. He had 10 completions fro 84 yards, one went for 39, one for 22. That means 8 went for a total of 23 yards. And the 22 yarder was not down the field.....some of the incompletions were further down the field and had no chance
-
They showed Allen sitting alone a couple times and even after the TD, he looked down. I was wondering if he was ok to play but the coaches said no we are going with Peterdude.
