Don’t agree with ride or die. Some picks don’t work out and you should not force yourself to use the guy anyway. Sometimes you have to just find a different solution.

I have a friend of a friend who is involved with a house in Miami Brady has been building.

I know a lot of people think you can just manipulate manipulate manipulate “like the saints”. I was poking around spotrac checking out void years which the bills have a moderate amount of. Void years essentially take cap from a future year and give it to a guy now. The player will count vs your cap in the void years but the player is not on your team. If anyone is interested check out the saints void contracts for 2024 - 2027. Almost 30 million one year and over 20 another. That is partly how they got out of their jam. They will have less than other teams for a few more years.

Was Micah Hyde's injury the key to the Bills' season?
Matt_In_NH replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
QB sneak it out of the endzone and we would probably be playing the winner of KC/Cinci next week. Sure you can also say the 4th and 18. You don't need to find an injury though, just execute at the right time in that same game. Injuries happen to all teams and they have affects....but no excuses. The Bills need to look carefully at themselves and what happened in that divisional round. -
Bills will not make it to the playoffs in 2023?
Matt_In_NH replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall
One thing I have learned is thinking about the schedule for next year now and judging how hard it is is kind of pointless. Anyone remember how much the AFC West was going to beat each other up and KC would lost a bunch of games. What you think teams will be next year is not correct in a lot of cases. But the Bills, if they have 17 and I will say McDermott(made playoffs with TT) they will have little trouble making the playoffs. -
Bill O’Brien - thoughts about him as OC?

Fire everyone...until the first game next year, at halftime fire everyone again! -

There was a press conference I think right after the KC game last year when it was known Dabol was gone where he all but said this is the guy I want. -

I disagree. There was a press conference where Josh clearly indicated he was the best man for the job. Josh got Beasley and Brown back. Gentry has been on the PS until recently because why, hes a great prospect? -

One and done suck it up -
I am never really a fire everyone guy especially over one play. But I will say I wondered aloud in real time given the down and distance presnap what in the heck are they doing before this play. if Tre was a good aggressive tackler maybe he could have stopped him short of the first down but just barely. Tre has been awful hopefully he gets well tjis off-season

I noticed issues with footing but I thought the issue was not the bengals had better footing rather they gameplanned for it. 1. The bills sat in zone where you have to read and react but you cannot with poor footing. Have to play more man. Eventually they did but they were down 14-0. Damage was done. 2. A couple run plays early were east west rather than quick hitters in the middle. Generally they ran it too infrequently. the problem was gameplan not footing….they made the footing a disadvantage by not adjusting to it.

Trade Diggs for assets and go to a more controlled ground game.

That is important! Not gonna happen though either way. -

People wanting to find a clone for everyone is interesting but not actually real. That is good news. -
How many Josh Allen prime years do they want to waste?

Pretty sure Beasley, Brown, Tanner Gentry, Dorsey and probably others have been influenced by Allen. -
Yes …I saw a D that limited the opponent to 2.3 yards per play, 190 passing, 40 yards rushing, chased ST all day sacking him 4 times, picking him off….Yes…you blitz to get pressure….Bills have a D scheme that does that in specific situations and it has worked successfully for years…but pretty sure your smell test is the way to go What did you see this week?

I think the 45M is if they cut him. Click the red x on the right. Pre 6/1 trade is 37M and post 6/1 trade is 11.8M dead cap. Post 6/1 is possible but cannot see it happening. -

I would have. -
I don't think the Bills strength is tough smash mouth in the trenches. But finding a handful of games over three years does not prove they cannot do it. Teams have good games/bad games. I bet I can find a game where the Bills dominated Tennessee or when the beat that Colts team in the playoffs. Maybe I am wrong but I see the schemes yesterday as the problem. Sitting in zone when you cannot cut for two drives on defense.....runnign the ball wide with Cook when you cannot put your foot in the ground at full speed (Cook second drive). Pretty much all passes looking for longer passes. Not running it straight ahead more. I really thought the gameplans were FUBAR.
-
I know people scream about screen passes and I agree we need them. The problem is Josh is not good at throwing them. Ball placement and pace are critical on screens. If you throw it right at the guy and he has to stop/catch then start again it can blow it up just with a pass that was complete but not well thrown.

Don't disagree with you but this team does not have a history of getting bent over in the playoffs. They are 4-4 and have had 2 OT losses, one loss against a superior KC team and the loss yesterday stands out as unique. I do agree they were out "physicalled" but I really think it had some to do with the gameplans. The weather dictated a certain style and the Bills pretended like there was no weather.
