Yep, that was the first half INT, it was a bad decision.

Again, you have to consider the defense, you are not going to just go up and down the field all day vs those guys. Not every play works, its not always on the OC when it does not work. The gameplan was good, the QB's execution was the problem last night.

He needs/needed a humble pie, hopefully he got that yesterday. I disagree though, he is a leader, it was one of his worst days.....lets not judge him completely on his worst day.

This is nonsense....complete nonsense. They had a quick pass game gameplan and it was working....13 points in the first half against that defense on the road is fine. Against that team, you easily win. Josh melted down in the second half, he played terribly, anyone who cannot see that is simply blinded by love for him. Trying to jump through two LB's when there is no chance of getting the first down, throwing into double and triple coverage....throw it away, punt and live for another set of downs. The winning formula is boring compared to what Josh wants to do. He says what he needs to do, he understands it but when in the game, he cannot control his impulses.

I see lack of pursuit/aggressiveness not lack of pursuit.

In some ways the game is very simple. Don’t turn. It over, tackle, limit penalties. Josh lost this game putting the ball in harms way. He says he should not do that but he goes and does it routinely.

The way I look at that, I don't think that is for sale, I expect next to zero snaps from him on defense unless there are multiple injuries or maybe at the end of a blowout or something.

What are you really selling, a 4th or fifth string safety who mainly plays special teams? I mean, yeah he is no Poyer or Hyde and would only play in a pinch like what happened last season.

In hindsight, do you think that was time worth spending?

I just had this conversation at work with a guy. I definitely have less energy in a way but it is because the real season starts in January. I am psyched and cant wait to watch the game. But with where this team is, no matter what happens tonight or any game this season, it only matters as a step in the process. A win does not mean much if they lose in the divisional round, a loss does not mean much if they win the SB....they can do a million great things all season and no one will care outside buffalo until they do it in the playoffs, it is just where this team is. I am aware they could not even make the playoffs so it is part of the process but the reality is whatever happens tonight will be overreacted to tomorrow.
