  1. No, some plays where he completes for a 2 yard gain to McCoy are 10-15 yard completions he doesn't make because he wont risk the throw or see count as "lost opportunities". Not just incompletions.
  2. Its not the 14 yard completion that's the problem, its the 14 plays a game he leaves on the field by not attempting to make the throws that are available out of fear of turning the ball over or inability to anticipate the play in the first place.
  3. Excellent TD, but lets not get carried away by a single play.
  4. Im excited to see what the coaching staff can do with an injection of athleticism at LB and the DL.
  5. Everyone knows the path to success is to fire your staff every year they don't make the playoffs, continuity and planning are overrated
  6. Funny watching the Monday night pregame and everyone except for Steve Young says the Chiefs should switch to Mahomes over Alex Smith because while Smith has good numbers, he is being way to careful trying to protect the football that its hurting the offense and the Chiefs need something to spark the offense. Its literally the exact opposite of the take on benching Tyrod but they seemed to have a problem with that one even though Smith has even better numbers.
  7. No one in particular, just how everyone has expectations of having a premium offensive and defensive unit with a rookie head coach and how he has to make us a Superbowl contender right now otherwise he needs to be fired. Failure in any area means the coordinators or head coach is responsible because the team talent is obviously top notch.
  8. I love typical fans unrealistic expectations lol.
  9. Better planning and execution. The Patriots despite what everyone here seem to think are capable of losing NFL games. If we don't make mistakes, there's no reason we can't pull it out. I suspect the team has been circling this one on the Calendar since week 1.
  10. Im not going to be optimistic unless we can steal a game from the Patriots to make up for lost opportunities earlier in the season and build in some buffer for a future let down.
  11. the NFL is entertainment to you and all of us here, its not our profession and it should not be dissected that way.
  12. How many of you felt the Chiefs had a good offense? They basically are the Bills, imagine how you would have felt if they had won because their defense kept us to less points and Smith had been able to get the win?
  13. They are gearing towards rapidly getting younger, so it wouldn't surprise me if we go younger at RB.
  14. I have my own opinion, Tyrod doesnt take risks because he wants to protect his stat line or hes too stupid to see the windows. Either way, he will be rather ineffective when his athleticism disappears and for a QB who is approaching 30 years old, he likely is getting there closer than anyone would think. There is a reason the only players who are still playing into their mid 30's are accurate pocket passers.
  15. Yep! Thats why I hate the Raiders, had a guy at school who was so obnoxious about them that I learned to really dislike them out of spite.
  16. I have definitely become very anti Tyrod this year just from the reading people excuse him 24/7.
  17. So wait, a rookie is able to struggle and then be allowed to rebound and learn as a career goes on? I thought they were supposed to be cut after a bad performance.
  18. He would already be gone if that was true.
  19. At some point when you go through new coaches every year you should probably wonder if its the players.
  20. At leas the people who want to move on from Tyrod can take heart in the fact that the coaches refuse to give Tyrod the ball in big moments and didnt hesitate to pull him when the unwillingness to take shots down the field as the game was slipping away, in other words the actions show they dont want him here.
  21. Just because you criticize Tyrod doesn't mean you are a Peterman guy. I think there are lots of people who would gladly draft a QB in the first round to take over for Tyrod.
  22. Tyrods problem is always the throws he wont make, not the ones he does.
  23. Im very excited what this staff can do with the abundance of picks we have this coming draft. We seem to have hit on a solid 2017 draft class.
  24. Baltimore has to drop a game on the schedule for us to control our own destiny.
