At this point he should sit on the bench and just keep learning the playbook and system and see what he can do next preseason.

I would think that having had 3 offensive co-ordinators over the past 2 years should indicate where the problem really is. Can we continue to blame coaching forever?

We could have 5 Jerry Rice's on the field, but unless hes running a safe out or a blown coverage Tyrod won't even look at him.

Its not on Tyrod completely, but lets not act like not moving the ball on offense isnt helping to add extra pressure to a defense that has to contend with one of the best offenses in the NFL.

At least we had the foresight to load up on picks going into this season so when this happens, we have the ammo to turn it around quickly.

Thats not on Tyrod, but I am still happy because not even trying for the 1st down and keeping his stat line looking clean by dumping it off gets penalized by the Int.

The problem is the league has learned our LB lack the speed to get outside to tackle and no coaching or Marcel Dareus is going to stop that.

So words out that our LB lack the speed to tackle on the outside.

At what point is it on talent and not coaching?

You will all change your tone if we actually stick to a rebuild and have a ton of cap space to retain the core for a prolonged run rather than trying to patch together a team to squeeze into the playoffs every year.

Feels like this going to be a game where FG's are not going to cut it.

I'm surprised there isn't more talk about Clayton Thorson. He has NFL size, tools and is a McDermott type of character who may declare if he can continue his good season. This is exactly the type of QB prospect that fits our likely draft position, offensive system and the culture that's being built. Good mechanics, strong arm, accurate and intelligent with solid athleticism. Likely to require a year of development time though.
