  1. While I do agree with you regarding the DL in general, I would also add Edmunds. If Edmunds can get that break out season that would also be a big factor
  2. Probably, but no way to know with the Jets. They may have had Darnold a little higher than Baker.... But anyway, he was asking in a scenario in which Baker ended up still on the board at 7 would Beane have picked him.
  3. I guess. I always thought that was his real name but lol,anyway..... Still when you hear Boomer a Bills fan thinks Berman.
  4. I don't know but I bet not as big as Bills over paid him.
  5. It's like some seem to believe he will never be able to grasp such a thing. Like it's some type of brain ***** that's nearly impossible to do. It's something fairly easy to get good at doing in a short period of time. Not sure why some are making it more than it is
  6. No way man...can't do that. That's trademarked and belongs to Chris Berman
  7. I sometimes wonder that too. I didn't believe it was close as the media kinda made it out to be. I think Browns knew all along with no doubt they were taking Baker.
  8. As expected....difficult to find evidence when the team mostly having only 3-5 or so wins year after year for so long. Hard to know if they were tanking or not because they sucked hardcore (throat goat type extreme sucking) all that time. Lol
  9. Yeah I wouldn't say "feared" either, but I guarantee they will be respected more this season. While they were respected for most part last season, teams knew and felt confident they could run on Bills D.
  10. Of course he would have. Along with any other team in need of a QB. If Baker was still on the board at 7th pick any team would have picked him. Remember he was ranked the best QB that year by a lot of ppl. So no question any team picking at #7 or 8 or whatever needing a QB would have been tripping over everyone to send the pick in if Baker was still available in that scenario
  11. Well as for the part about if Beane moves up in draft it's because he really loves that player. Something about Elam made Beane feel some kind of way
  12. I think it's a good chance they will be better in 2 stats, pressuring the QB/more sacks. 2nd is run defense and hopefully won't give up as many big time runs. Agree, me either. I had my mind on better pass rush and run defense. Not so much rankings in general
  13. I feel ya...and I'm not wanting to get all up into this and all that.... but this math that you talk about that clearly you're going to live and die by doesn't mean much to me. Reason being is that there can be flaws, like there could be a mistake or maybe with these new discoveries that will continue to be found, someday one of them could turn out to be a kind that could change some things or everything they thought was known. Something that could change or make adjustments to a lot of "math".
  14. What made you feel that way? I thought he had a decent rookie year. He had times he could have been better, but that's expected from rookies much of the time. He made some plays and batted couple passes along with showing he could stay disciplined against the run. I mean clearly he has work to do as expected, but I didn't see anything that would "lessen my enthusiasm" or anything. I came away feeling he showed some upside and believe to have some promise. Nothing that makes me believe he won't get better and better....Idk, that's just me
  15. It's just another one of those great, newly discoveries they continue to make. What makes it even more interesting is they continue to discover more and more new things and getting answers that was/is unknown. New discoveries will continue as we go on and one can only wonder what interesting evidence will be discovered in the future. Makes it pretty clear to me that nobody has the slightest clue what's is or isn't out there when there is new discoveries still being made and so much unknown that's waiting to be discovered. Anyway, my 2 cents
  16. No intentions to knock anyone that does this, but I don't get why anyone does a mock that far ahead? I mean there's a few players here and there that some have high expectations and all. But with all of the unknown between now and then I don't get it.
  17. With addition of Miller alone, one would have to say better...also I feel like we will see better play from the DTs. Hard for me to see why anyone would think the D will be worse
  18. It was said while back when that was discussed that the QB2 takes more time/reps with 2nd team or whatnot. Something along those lines.... but anyway
  19. Yeah, not sure what happens with Jerry, but my heart wants him to possibly win a SB here. However, they might be ready to let the younger guys take over.
  20. Yeah without question he's an upgrade over Kumerow. I have a hard time seeing it happening though.
  21. Not necessarily, depends on the situation and if there's better personnel than it was previous season surrounding can play a factor. Anyway, I do think he's going to take a jump, but no idea how big though
  22. Between those 2 names I'm not sure which one to feel good about, maybe neither..... Julio hardly ever plays and you know how OBJ is, also OBJ coming off that injury would be a concern.
  23. Lol I'm with you, but for the hell of it Thunder Foot 2.0
  24. I don't know about "elite"...but I do definitely believe he will improve, maybe quite a bit. With addition of Miller and improvement from the DT's in the middle (hopefully)....he will certainly have the chance to be a bigger force. That in consideration I'd be surprised if he didn't take a bit of a leap and make lots of plays.
  25. Some post here and there concerned about him as holder on FG attempts, which I get it since he hasn't had to do it yet. That being said, I don't share that same amount of concern. I think it's something he will learn fairly quickly and will do just fine because I think we can all pretty much agree that Haack likely won't be around much longer. Also it's not extremely difficult to get the hang of it.
