Planning a trip out there next month. Flying into Portland. I literally picked a place on the map called Pacific City to spend a few days. As Sonny said in The Godfather... "Anyone know this joint?"

Except for Bills/Sabres pbp I haven't listened to shows on GR for 10 years. I'm a better person for it too. However, I was listening at the time Brad got canned. He would not show up for work over and over again. Which I could completely see because of how lazy his show was. He thought he was witty and clever when he wasn't. Judging from the comments I see nothing has changed and the station still sucks. If they ever had competition with a strong signal the firings would begin. They'd have their ratings cut in half in six months.

I don't know what is uglier. Those pics of her beaten or this thread. Not our finest hour. Season can't start fast enough.

I agree. The haters can hate all they want. He's done it all. Plus, for a guy isn't often injured, who knows how many times his brain has been rattled. Walk off into the sunset with your sack of gold and enjoy the next 40 years.

Interesting read. Part 1 was fascinating as well. I actually liked Jerry. Was too much of the same at times? Absolutely. However, if you ever hear him on out of town radio, such as the FAN590, he is really insightful. The BN dug their own grave and it's convenient to blame the style of a man for alienating your readership rather than own up to your own mistakes.

I would say watching my ex give birth to our first. All of the crazy things I did when I was younger had at least had a sense of control to it. No matter how stupid. It was a looooong labor and I've never been more terrified in my life. Nothing I could do but watch it unfold. It felt like going 15 rounds with Ali AND Frazier.

27-23 NE. Philly is probably better at every position except QB and TE but it won't matter. You almost need two game plans given how Belichick adjusts at halftime. Eagles go up early. Pats score right before halftime. Pats grind them down in the 4th. We've seen this show before.

Why hasn't he seen the field? Look at the acumen of their coach. McCarron is definitely worth a look if it's at a reasonable deal. There is a reason why he is appealing to the league to change his status to free agent. Cincy won't let him go. Why is that if he's just another replaceable backup?

Totally agree. If they had any competition on a station with a good signal, they'd get destroyed. Deregulation sucks. Without being the Bills and Sabres flagship they'd sink in 18 months.
