    If you aren’t the owner, you are an employee. Nobody is attempting to downplay the offense. One says what is the difference between texting while driving and drinking while driving. That’s a damned fair point because, IMO, texting is worse. And the other comment is 100 percent true.

    DWI is bad but imagine if every time someone was arrested for it their employer had to come out and basically apologize for their employees behavior. Twitter would need a new server.

    I think they see Bates as more than just a camp body. If they wanted a camp body they could have cut Bojorkodork and signed a street free agent.

    Pretty good across the board. Would like to see better in short yardage defense. That was the most disappointing aspect of a game that had many positives.

    Meh, I have my doubts. Why wouldn’t you say it was a good thing Bon Jovi didn’t buy the team because he was the believed, out of the three that bid, that would move the team. (Toronto)

    It could ensure a 3-1 record in pre-season though. The impact of this trade won’t truly be felt until Wednesday. Don’t ask me why Wednesday.

    I’m not speaking about Harold. I’m just would like to know their thinking behind bringing Bates in and who does this spell trouble for. Though Bates can play tackle, he has versatility and my bet is this gives some direct competition to Teller and Bodine. If Bates can play well (UFA but who knows?) Bates can bring to the team what both of those guys can’t.

    No doubt. I’m not sure how to feel about this trade. There must be some aspect of the o-line they did not like, depth-wise I mean.

    The message was sent to Yeldon. Honestly, that was a great strip by the defender. The psychology of sitting Yeldon wasn’t just a message to him, it was a message to all on the team. I’m glad McDermott did that.

    Doesn’t Teller only play guard? It seems as if there is a lot of versatility among the other linemen. If he isn’t a starter he may not make the team.

    They can cut Bojorkodork today for all I care. The guy sucks. But....no, I have no worries. Kicker is more than fine and if they need a punter I’m pretty sure a decent one will be cut this pre-season.

    I have been a fan of this team since 1973. I don’t remember being as down on this team as I am now.
