The Falcons defense is so devoid of talent that not even the ghost of Buddy Ryan would be able to get them to play. When Quinn was in Seattle he had elite talent to work with and fielded some of the top defenses in the NFL. I guarantee when Quinn goes back to focusing on just being a DC he will once again field a top 10 defensive unit.

My guess is that the D-Line is slightly undersized. With the O-Line allowed to hold like they are now our guys are having trouble shedding blockers and getting to the QB. They seem to be having trouble with gap responsibility which is putting more pressure on our undersized LB’s who need to be kept clean to make plays. In turn our secondary is having to cover longer and are being burned. This is also not just happing to just the Bills but all defenses across the NFL. We have to figure out how to adapt or die.

I believe it so much that they are tanking that I will be picking up and starting the Bills defense this week in FFL.

I would say the D-Line is going to be overhauled to some extent in 2021. I think the transition to a 3-4 would be a good idea but we would need a new DC for that. Dan Quinn is a guy I would keep a eye on. He is probably going back to being a DC and someone I would throw money at. Quinn was one of those guys who is a great DC but not so good as a HC.

If we could sign a NT and play a base 3-4 I wonder what it would look like. I would probably have Edmunds and Milano as my ILB’s with Hughes at ROLB and Dodson at LOLB. Get Epenesa back to 280 at RE and Oliver at LE. Obviously this would be for 2021 but I would love to try and copy what the Bucs are doing. The Bucs have guys blitzing from all over the place and confuse the hell out of the opposing offenses. I feel like Epenesa game is more power based, I would like to see him at 280lbs. I see him getting pushed around at 260

I still believe in Beanie and McD, I feel like we can beat any team but we are 1 more year away from truly breaking through into Top 5 status. The main thing that I’m watching right now is Frazier, his play calling has been pretty bad. I think he is a great positional coach, mainly with the secondary. I am starting to feel like he is being out coached and his play calling is now being spotlighted because of the top tier offenses that we are playing this year.

The Jets are picking 1st, they might as well put it in Neon lights in front of the stadium “We are TANKING in 2020”.

I would be happy with decent shape and taking a month to get into real game shape. I have always liked Dareus, I hope he has one more run in him.

With the way the defense is playing it's hard to go into any game and feel like your going to win. I don't consider the Jets a football team.

There is a difference between sitting on the Super Bowl and cleaning it, right now we have our toilet scrubbers out cleaning up KC's *****.

I would still like to hear Fraser's explanation for the horrid calls on 3rd and long, not just in this game but the whole season. I am so close to changing the channel when the Bills defense takes the field.

I agree, for such a big guy he plays like a pussycat. I can't count how many times he has tried to block the invisible man and fall on the ground.

I didn't really see a difference after [Ford] was injured so I didn't think it was worth mentioning. I will rewatch the game tonight to confirm.

So you are saying that we just need to find the best RB, assemble the greatest O-Line ever, find a 5x pro bowl TE, and field a Cowboys defense which is light years of where we are right now for Allen to start winning. I guess I can wait 10 more years for that.

Plus the cap is projected to drop a lot in 2021, any upgrades will need to be made thru the draft.

I agree, I was just thinking the same thing. This team is good but has no chance of winning a SB this year. We will still make the playoffs if we lose on purpose to the Jets preventing them from getting TL.

I agree, its his game planning and play calling that is losing us games right now. If he has one more game like this I think a move needs to be made.

One more game like this and Frazier needs to be gone. 500 yards and just getting run over like this is unacceptable.

Milano seems to be the real key to this defense. Can’t wait for him to get back and see the defense just transform.

Against crap teams our defense is average against good teams they suck
