I think the offense is playing conservative. 1. Because Allen is still very young and so much personal on the offense side of the ball is new. 2. Our defense is a top 3 unit and McD is leaning on them to carry the team.

I feel like we have some talent on offense to work with to make a run. The defense is obviously very good but the offense has the players to get on a roll. The only thing that scares me is if Singletary goes down the guy we sign will probably be starting.

The Steelers have a good defense and a good O-Line. They are on a similar rebuild path timeline as us if they can find a QB. I would be happy with a decade of Bills Steelers football in January.

RB’s like Thurman are rare. He just played in a era with so many talented RB’s. Thurman would carry his team on his back when they needed him to. The Talented players on those 90’s Bills teams were elite players. Knox, Smoke and Beasley are keepers but we still need our Reed and Thomas which are the two biggest pieces.

I can see both sides of the argument and the only real answer is time will tell. I never thought Flacco was a accurate passer but that year he lead the Ravens to a SB he must of had a out of body experience or something. That might have been one of the best performances by a QB who up’ed his game in the playoffs that I have ever seen. I cant wait to see how pumped up Allen is for the playoffs and if he can elevate his game.

I definitely think Allen taking those hits on the called QB running plays is going to shorten his career. He needs to play like R. Wilson and not take nasty hits.

If your 6’5 240 you don’t get those calls. This and the intentional grounding, I have no idea how you miss those calls. The only good thing is there is no way this crew will be working a playoff game missing that many calls.

I agree, a clean pocket to step into is the most important thing. Two more big targets at WR and TE would help too.

Still a very young QB who is still developing trust with his O-Line and WR/TE. I think you can improve your accuracy with better footwork and throwing mechanics. I don’t think he will ever be at a Drew Brees level of accuracy but I don’t think Allen needs to be. Allen has amazing physical gifts, his quick release, arm strength and mobility are elite. I was hoping he stayed healthy and showed improvement thought the year which he has. I feel like the offensive formations and personal that the Eagles have would be beneficial to Allen. We just need that 2nd TE, a big WR that can battle for contested balls and maybe two more upgrades to the O-Line. We are so close to making a serious run at a few SB’s.

I think one of the main reasons that we are making the playoffs is because of our amazing injury report. We haven’t lost a key guy yet that would really create a huge hole. We need to rest our key players next week and go into the playoffs healthy.

It’s not just us, I was at a bar in Chicago wearing my Bills gear watching the game and I cannot tell you how many people came up to me saying I hope you guys beat their ass. A bar full of Bears fans seemed like they were all Bills fans for a night.
