Love Cosell's insight. -
Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams

I'd be shocked if Beane did an in season trade for anybody other than just another middling player like Hines. Id be double shocked if Brady worked said player into the offense. -

I heard that too. The owners statement was pretty much an indication that when they got Rodgers they intended for 2 years of competitive play and basically said they are in win now mode so is doing what he feels is necessary to get there. The timing of it is because he knows they has to beat the Bills. Rodgers is already banged up again this year with a knee injury and ankle injury. He said that he is in a battle with father time. -

Saves the challenge flag and then calls time out anyways ha. -
meh if we lose it’s because our offense sucks, not from a HC being fired.
-
Rodger’s wins hahaha. Maybe he gets Havket hired HC too!!

Dawson Knox: 3 receptions in 5 games. $8.5M salary.
Scott7975 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
my thoughts are that while we may not have the greatest talent, we do have talent that isn’t being used. Knox has produced in the past. -
I dont think he really has Coleman. I initially thought so too with a cut off camera. He looks like he about to be lined up and blasted at point of catch though. It does not take a DB long to get there and he only couple yards away. Kincaid for sure though. The pass should have went there. Dunno why it didn't.

Pretty sure this is the worst passing chart I have ever looked at. Yeah what the hell happened to all the motion we were running the first 3 weeks?
-
I remember when Daboll was here and it took like a whole season just to figure out cover zero defense. I feel like we are here again and it takes them a whole season just to figure out how to beat the Ravens D that everyone will throw at us now.

Shakir is very good. We still need an outside receiver though. -
How did you feel when Josh set up in the shotgun?
Scott7975 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was thinking that Brady sucks as an OC. I don't care that they tried to pass it. What I care about are the playcalls themselves. That was the time to play efficient small ball offense and just work your way towards a first down. Not throw downfield all 3 attempts. Also, a defense never has to guess if we are running or passing. They just know what we are doing. -
This team isnt good enough for a deep playoff run. I don't think our OC is good enough for that either. Every team needs some game changers. We don't have any at all besides QB. He can't do it alone. We have a bunch of good guys but no great guys.

Q: What is an Emergency Third Quarterback? A: A club may designate a bona fide quarterback as an Inactive/Emergency Third Quarterback for a regular-season or postseason game. The player must be listed on the Gameday Administration Report that is submitted prior to or at the 90-minute meeting, subject to the following: The Emergency Third Quarterback must be on the club's 53-player roster; the player cannot be an elevated Practice Squad player. The club's starting quarterback (QB1) and its backup quarterback (QB2) must also be on the club's 53-player roster. A club must have two bona fide quarterbacks on its 47/48-player gameday active list to designate an Emergency Third Quarterback. A club cannot designate an Emergency Third Quarterback if it has three or more bona fide quarterbacks on its 47/48-player gameday active list. *Q: When is an Emergency Third Quarterback permitted to enter a game? * A: An Emergency Third Quarterback is permitted to enter a game only if the club's two active quarterbacks are unable to play either by disqualification or injury, including for example, if QB1 is unable to play and QB2 is being evaluated for an injury.

So Kyle can walk on and throw the best pass of the game yet for Pitts?
-
I thought the same. Must have the worst calf injury in history. Did he get some of it removed? Might be the only team to gameday roster 3 QBs?
-
Wow they are letting Fields stay in?

I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better
Scott7975 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. This is on Brady. Samuel might not be that great of a receiver but the guy gets like 600-800 yards a season with worse QBs. All Brady can manage to do is throw to him behind the LoS. -
Yep, he was mad that he got open and Lawrence took the check down instead. Later in the game Lawrence hit him on a 21 yard pass. Gabe fumbled the ball.

Yes, he can. When we had a good receiver group Josh was ripping them all over the field. Not only do our receivers suck but we also have a terrible offensive system. Are you telling me that we cant get a guy the ball past the LoS that regularly got 600-800 yards per season with bad QBs? This game I think looks different with Shakir in the lineup but there is no excuse for not being able to use some of the other guys somehow. No they aint #1s but they have gotten yards before. We only know how to throw to the LoS all of a sudden? Josh might have been off but not all those incompletions were his fault either. -
Worst (regular season) coached game in the entire McD era
Scott7975 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whether he knew the play or not, its pretty pathetic we had 10 guys in coverage and they still managed to get a wide open receiver. Two other receivers were still single covered too. -

He also had Coleman open. That was what I was saying earlier... the Problem was not that they passed the ball. The problem was they were looking to march down the field and win the game instead of just trying to get a FD and go to overtime. -

People assume we would have gotten no yards running the ball. If they even gotten a couple yards, it makes 3rd down easier. Could have dialed up a pass play from any play in the book in that situation. The problem for me is not exactly that they passed the ball. Its the type of plays they ran. They were actually trying to get enough yards to kick a field goal. What they should have done is tried to just get a first down. This was the time for the short quick plays. A quick slant or a dump off. Wheel route. Something. Just get a few yards each play and try and get that FD. Instead they tried running sideline plays in hopes they could get in FG range with clock left. Its bad coaching for the second week in a row. Its a bad offensive game plan. Its bad roster management by Beane too.
