Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
Scott7975 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
He had a good 2022 draft. The rest, he may have gotten one decent player and a bunch of jags. The only true game changer he ever drafted was Allen. Adams is a game changer. He isnt getting someone like that with a 2nd round pick. He never has. Cook is close but its just a RB and he isnt a game changer like Henry or Adams. -

If they wanted to make it happen then they could find a way to do it. Beane doesnt do this type of thing though. He goes after mediocre players like Hines. You mean like the 49ers or the Rams? -
Joe Marino All-22 review - "The coaches were duds"
Scott7975 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im not quite there yet with McD but I did not like his decisions. Punting in that situation was absolutely a bad choice. The team is down 2 scores, defense cant stop a nose bleed. Josh makes that first down most of the time. The team absolutely could not go down by 3 scores. I knew that was going to happen and said it in the GDT. -

This is the type of stuff I said last year when everyone was complaining that we werent running small ball. -

Funny, I made a thread on this with the youtube version and they moved it into the post game thread. /shrug Coaches were terrible this game. Did not put players in position to succeed. This game was definitely more a coaching failure than it was a player failure. -
Is what it is. Maybe Von will appeal and get it reduced some. Get it done and over with. Better now than in the final stretches of the season or playoffs when we might really need him.

Because our line was so crap, they kept extra blockers in and only sent 3 out in pass patterns against 5/6. They arent winning that matchup when the rush still gets there. Nobody could block. Ravens simulated pressure fooled em all and they couldnt figure out what to do about it. They dumped the whole gameplan, no motions or nothing. For reference on how good that speed was, Nick Wright said it was only 0.1 sec slower than Worthy's TD. Thats just insane to keep that speed all the way down the sideline at his age and wear and tear. -
The throw to Shakir deserves its own thread

What the Bills needed last night was better blocking by the oline so that they didnt have to max protect and still have bad blocking. This team was only sending 3 out receiving to a team that had 5-6 in coverage, while the Ravens still got jailbreak pressure. You arent going to win that matchup. Brady also went away from all our motions and everything. Our entire game plan was thrown in the garbage. -
Baltimore did what they do please take a moment and understand this

The Bills got out coached from top to bottom. Its that simple. When you put light boxes against heavy sets for almost half of them and expect a good outcome... thats bad coaching. -

"The Ravens ran out of heavy sets 82% of the time. The Bills gave light box counts on rushing downs (6 or less in the box) on 41.2% of rushing snaps. Heavy box counts only 8.8% of the time." Just smh. -

Heres a good full picture of the trick play Joe Brady taking yesterday’s loss and putting it all on him. He says they didn’t have a bad game plan but he did a bad job calling the game. On the trick play: “Not just a bad play call because of the result of the play, but I try to pride myself on the feel, the flow of the game. Even if we're able to get that off and even if we're able to do anything with it, it wasn't the right timing for the play. I gotta have a better feel and understanding." -

This is almost as big of a meme as butt fumble, but at least this guy tried to get in the way... -
Anytime you are playing a super bowl competitor in your conference, its a big game. They are last years 1 seed. The Bills want to be the 1 seed. This could be the difference in seeding, so yes its a big game.
-
Because it was bad play design. I mean yeah, I think Coleman was gonna be open for a big gain but they put Josh right behind the runner that pitched it to him (forgot who.) Not only is that not going to fool people but even if it did, Josh was a yard away. Just keep running at the ball lol.

Cam Lewis is a big part of how we lost. People want to point to mostly Hamlin being bad and Oliver being invisible, However Cam Lewis is a big reason. They use Lewis almost like a 3rd linebacker. He is always in position and around the play but is terrible at tackling and misses a lot of tackles. Not just last night but in past weeks as well. He has had some good plays but he misses too many as well. This D will be much better when we get Bernard and Johnson back.
-
Well they only had Von play 9 snaps (usually plays about 30) as they only use him as a pass rusher so its not like he had a lot of opportunity to make plays. Ed, yeah invisible.
-
I'm not all that impressed with him and I wasn't before this game either. It also doesn't help that the Bills are pretty predictable in their playcalling. They almost never take a shot on 2nd down for instance. Last week was a little different but this is 3 weeks out of 4 that they have been like this.
-
He had a bad game today but so did everyone. Hard to do much when there are two people running free even with two extra protectors in the backfield. The trick play in that situation was really the only problem with Brady specifically tonight imo.

Oliver hasn’t played all that well but he was getting held all day. Every time I seen him start to break through he got held far worse than the cheap holding call they gave us on that stupid flop. I’m not blaming the refs this game. Just sayin what I seen when I actually watched him a few times. -
Yeah Coleman would been open for a big play but there was no time with that pass rush.
-
I won’t condemn him over one game but this game was really bad. That trick play was not only a stupid call in that situation but it wasn’t drawn up well either. There was no need to run that play there even if it was drawn up well. It looked like something they put together on napkins during the flight without any actual practice of it.
