I’m ok with the receivers despite the rough outlook yesterday. Corner is a problem though for sure.

A rebuilding team is not giving up anything for an aging veteran. They would be better off signing anyone under 28 and seeing if they can develop them for the future. The only way to move Addison would be a playoff hopeful team in the NFC more than likely that has an injury. Jets will grab some young guys at cut downs.

I got a kick out of it. My wife doesn’t normally watch the games so she loved the Bosa part. My only suggestion would be to add some fun moments in if possible. Some of the funny clips in interviews or practice (if he has access to those and can edit them in, I’m not good at that stuff so I have no clue the time it takes to do it) But yeah he did an amazing job. It was fun to watch.

As others said stay on topic and it’s usually not an issue. Let’s be real here. We all have a “side” on all of this. There’s always a bias and it never stays respectful. The mods have every right to shut things down, who wants to deal with all that nonsense and misinformation given and etc etc etc

If I recall correctly we didn’t really scale the offense back for Allen. He wasn’t willing to play the short pass game. He lived in the 10-30 yard range and if protection didn’t hold he was running. But we were extremely conservative to keep him in the best game situations as possible. Run, run, pass had some people wanting mcd out of here and questioning if he could coach on gamedays. When in reality they were making a real effort to protect Allen’s confidence and keep him in less situations that he had to make the plays, or not make the play. If they just unleashed him year one I think it could of been very ugly and likely he does not progress into what he is today. This league has seen plenty of “sure thing” quarterbacks fail or not live up to the hype. The situation these guys are put in sometimes outweighs their talent.

Yeah I don’t wanna hate on him.. But I have watched him crumble in quite a few big games. He’s off to a great start here. Great coaches. But I hope we never see him play in a Buffalo uniform again this season.

Slow your role a little there. We could all easily be signing a different tune about Mitch if he’s forced into duty this season. If he had to come in for a relief appearance in the playoffs and bombed we’d run him out of town in seconds on this board. It’s just a preseason game. Great for banter and hope but certainly not worth a contract extension 😂😂

I don’t think he’s gotten the same love yet. Antonio williams was seemingly closing in before his rough game. I’m not sure who is next in line yet

God help us if KC scoops him up on their practice squad later. The whole dang site might shut down from traffic

This was my original thinking before. Awhile back I think it was hapless who pointed out to me other guys with really no value Beane moved. Cardale, Newhouse, Lee smith, Mccaron, Bodine, Cardale Jones certainly didn’t have more value than Fromm. Maybe a higher upside but still. A 6 or 7 isn’t a bad throwaway pick for an unproven quarterback

Sometimes I’d agree, but when it’s back end guys everyone knows you’re cutting or sneaking to the practice squad there’s not much value. Add in he has zero experience which is what most want in a backup. We’d be lucky to pull a 6 or 7. Similar to when we dumped Newhouse years ago.

I actually suggested floating Fromm or Webb days ago. But a 4th is a pretty ridiculous suggestion imo

Zero chance Obada would make it to the practice squad. Somebody would sign him up just based on his flexibility and athleticism. I think that’s the toughest position group to gauge cause we all basically want the same guy gone to keep the others, but they’re probably keeping him.

I said when he signed and people were excited, if Taiwan stays Brieda would probably be the inactive. But supposedly he’s been practicing on special teams and he can play some snaps on offense so maybe he’s got a shot. I just hate seeing people judge him based on our two preseason games and expecting him to be something he’s not. If he could be a traditional running back and handle 15-20 carries a game Miami wouldn’t of given up on him so quickly.

Too many young teams mentioned in this thread that are rebuilding, they are not a piece away (certainly not a Trubisky piece) No reason they’d target Mitch or someone like Addison on bad teams and give up picks. They’d just wait until next offseason and try to sign them (hello comp pick) You’d need a playoff team and more than likely from the NFC to move anyone of value and get decent compensation in return. It would more than likely be an injury forcing them to fill an important spot and thus having to overpay to get someone.

One good preseason game and we want to judge compensation.. If you really did some homework you’d see our boy McCarron went down non contact injury in Atlanta and all they have is UDFA franks as backup. So maybe… Fromm or Webb could be sent there for a late round pick. Leave Mitch alone. Allen is amazing but has taken terrible hits every year, having a good backup outweighs any realistic compensation Trubisky may get.

You mean roster 2 RBs and a special teams player. Boy I hope we have no injuries this season.

Yeah I thought last week was for knee injuries.

If he’s that bad he can just go to the practice squad, don’t have to worry about someone snatching him up.
