I would like to see him benched for sure. Get these younger faster guys out there more. Allen don’t have much time to throw need some guys who can get open fast -

59 yards with some wind, that’s like a 20% chance maybe. Not saying they shouldn’t of tried it but that’s a hard kick for anyone -

The way the offense is going I would punt it too. We see McDermott isn’t scared to play aggressive when his team shows him some confidence. When they’re playing like this though you’re just trying to stay in the game and hope something goes your way -

Love the formation on the TD.. Stacking receivers on each side, wish the line could protect long enough to spread things out more often. I feel like allen could read the field a little better that way -

He’s not very good at trolling. But he’s gonna cry for attention anytime Allen doesn’t do godly things -

Is it really meltdown time down 7-0 in the first quarter? Some of you guys are so quick to jump off a bridge -

Why bother? Might as well cut him now since he missed the throw -

I did think it was a safety, but if we’re judging the forward progress and calling it dead there it’s not a safety -

I would love to see a shutdown performance from the defense today along with an aggressive offensive scheme. Let’s see what this kid can do and have him air it out. -
What’s Up With Derek Anderson?
Rc2catch replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They signed him to “play” that didn’t go well. He’s just here to finish the season, no reason to transition his role in the organization. He may not want to be a coach or whatever and is just collecting a quick check helping out the team. Win win for everyone -
This is all a moot point, especially now there’s supposedly a second incident coming to light that’s going to have his suspension possibly longer than 6 games. He’s basically losing 2 years of his already short career span over this suspension. And they are prime years. The bills don’t need that kind of press distraction. We already have posts about luring free agents here, signing this guy with all the bad press sure ain’t helping with the free agent ideas. Very few teams can afford this type of risk. The Pats of course could absorb this kind of headache. But I would be completely shocked if any newer coaching regimes would attach this headache to their name. McDermott is 2 years almost into being a head coach. Why link your name to a guy who probably isn’t even as good as an aging McCoy? Why risk the headache

I’m not 100% sold on using a first round pick on a receiver. Not sure anyone is “elite” yet. I think we’re seeing a new trend for the league where you don’t need a true #1 guy. Just an array of weapons. A good quarterback will make a receiver look like a #1 but give him multiple weapons and he can make them all look kinda great. Unlike some of our posters on this board I do have faith beane can judge the talent and take an elite prospect in the 1st. I’ll trust his judgement on whoever he picks.

If I’m a wide receiver and I have any speed to my game whatsoever I am absolutely coming to buffalo. With that cannon Allen has somebody like a Kenny stills or John Brown would be destined for bigtime highlight reel touchdowns and celebrations. I would be excited about the chance to be the #1 guy and build a rapport with a young quarterback like Allen.

Is Vander Eshe to Edmunds the same as Juju to Zay
Rc2catch replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have said it before and can say it again, is it not possible Zay can put up similar stats to JuJu in Pittsburgh? With Antonio Brown having to be double covered almost every single play, a vet quarterback who isn’t scared to sling the ball all over the field and a heavy passing attack 35-45 times a game.. JuJu knows he’s getting targeted, has all the confidence in the world and can just relax and make plays when the ball comes to him. Thats not the same here, where you have pressure to make a play and spark the putrid offense and may only get one or two targets in a game. There’s a lot more pressure knowing you need to turn those one or two targets into something. I’m not saying Zay is better or even has the same potential but I’m also not willing to say we missed on Zay over juju. I think had he landed on Pittsburgh or LA in place of JuJu or Kupp he would shine just like those guys do. He’s shown us this year he has some talent, and can make plays if he gets the ball. The one thing JuJu seems to do I’m not sold on Zay for is the contested catches. We also don’t give him a lot of chances to make those plays either -
To be fair, what we should of learned from that game is a superior team effort can win any game. A team first culture. The offensive schemes are all the rage right now but these guys haven’t won anything. And in Andy Reid’s case has shown his teams generally fail in the big games. The offensive minds are running the regular season and putting up all the flashy stats, but they haven’t won anything yet. Come playoff time you gotta be able to win games like last night too. Have to be able to run the ball and play competitive defense.

What would you give for a OBJ or AJ Green?
Rc2catch replied to mozillameister's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
AJ Green is a little injury prone but without a doubt I’d give a 1st if it’s out of the top 10 for him in a heartbeat. He HAS to be double covered. So regardless of what stats he may put up here from a gameplanning standpoint I’m taking him anyday of the week. Consummate professional that guy. Beckham, and that contract I’m not sure I would even take. Maybe if the giants gave us their 3rd and OBJ for our second lol. I have always disliked him though -
Kyle Williams & Lorenzo Alexanders Future ?
Rc2catch replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If either wants to continue playing I can’t see any way they don’t offer them a deal. I think they’re already quite deep at tackle so Kyle as a rotational guy certainly does not hurt. Linebacker I fully expect to see addressed in draft or free agency for a stud to pair with cookie and 49.. Lorax can play special teams too so he has value regardless of his actual role. Both are at very worst worthy of decent one year deals as key vet rotational players. I expect to see new starters/upgrades though still
