Beane always has a plan. I’m now expecting a tight end in some form of trade. Guy is insanely calculated in his moves you guys overreact too much, stop stressing until you see the team on the field

No weapon drafted or signed is going to fix it, good quarterbacks make average/above average players into weapons. Allen can make this current group into superstars, or make them look putrid. Doesn’t matter what receivers you get if (a) Allen can’t get the ball to them or (b) he can’t read the field and find open guys. Once he proves he can do that consistently you can bang the drum to get him elite weapons

I really hope Miami makes the Rosen trade.. Be pretty cool having 3/4 top quarterbacks in the same division for years to come, especially if ours turns out better lol

Even with the offseason moves my belief is this is still a run first and often team. Until Allen shows consistency I don’t think McDermott is ready to have him throwing 30+ times a game. Which makes receiver not as important yet. On this team this season I would be shocked if metcalf could get 2 targets a game. Not much to work with for a rookie. Of course I could be completely wrong on the offensive philosophy going into this season. I would expect next years draft they could target the #1 receiver available though if Allen shows vast improvement

I’m actually on the outs here as I really hope they don’t take metcalf.. Just don’t think he’s going to produce much for this specific team and won’t make any impact this season. Long term maybe he’s a star but for me anyways I would rather get someone who can make an impact now and still have potential to be a star later. I’d rather grab a tight end or linebacker or even offensive lineman before taking a receiver
