  1. If Bills were going to sign OBJ they would’ve already. We’ve seen what Gabe can do at his best, McBeane may want to see what a new WR coach can bring out of him. Gabe’s issues are all mental, he’s gifted physically.
  2. I would agree with that assessment. Ed is a better talent and better statistically, there is a big difference between Ed’s full potential and Ford’s full potential. That said, without doing tons of research (and let’s be honest, no one on this MB does) I would say Ed’s usual performance isn’t a huge jump from Ford’s usual performance. The thing that won’t show up on any stat line is whether Ford can plug up running lanes and keep both out 225 pound LBers clean. I’m very curious to find that out, if Bills can actually sign Ford.
  3. So would I, unload the 10 mill and get a higher floor with a lower ceiling.
  4. Pre-FA none, post FA if a Buffalo reporter brings it up it’s likely, they key thing is the word interest. Interest doesn’t mean visit, so how likely something is to happen is still a stretch. If the player was coming in for a visit, then there is much more to read in on.
  5. I think they mean his straight line speed, which wasn’t great (4.65) but his agility tests were fantastic.
  6. I didn’t get that reading the NFL.com write up. He’s 6’5” 250
  7. I find it hilarious his pro comparison is Edmunds. Instinct and coverage are his biggest a weakness, although both can be over come. I won’t hate it, he has the agility required.
  8. Problem is he is never healthy, this is 3 years in a row.
  9. I won’t lie, I’m a tiny bit worried about post-PED Hopkins…
  10. Agreed about Lawson and Phillips, although I can see us drafting a 4th DT this year for Oliver insurance. Q-Berry, Klein, and Pro Bowl Bobby I can see back for depth purposes. Maybe Marlowe too. Kumerow and Singletary I still think get signed by another team.
  11. Looks like he chose #9
  12. That game broke this MB, it hasn’t been the same since.
  13. That safety we signed might signal this
  14. For those keeping score at home, Bills have gained 3 free agents and lost 2, so they are not eligible for the 3rd round comp pick they would get for losing Tremaine Edmunds, per Cover 1 Buffalo podcast. I normally don’t care about comp picks, but an extra 3rd would be great, especially with an aging secondary.
  15. We have cap space for IHOP and Burger King, that’s pretty much it
  16. Can’t help but wonder if the “Bernard has no value” crowd are the same ones that wanted to cut Tyler Bass after his 0-2 start.
  17. Which means he had 776 yards in his first 171 carries! Amazing production I actually thought you were being sarcastic, then I looked up his stats and you were being serious. He fell off a cliff hard this year. The plus side is he wouldn’t be RB1, just RB1a and definitely won’t get 271 Carrie’s next year. I still think Damien Harris or Darrel Williams is the direction we will go. Harris KILLED us and Williams played for KC.
  18. He’s also only 27, he’s definitely a dude I’ll have an eye on…
  19. I think it has more to do with Harty being a better mid-deep range WR. McKenzie was most effective in the short range throws.
  20. With McK released, we should have about 11.5 in space.
  21. Nothing but love for Lil Dirty, had a nice career in Buffalo.
  22. Damian Harris or Derrell Williams?
  23. Yea when Beane said that I didn’t feel like it was a great endorsement for McKenzie I’ll give you $10 to say something positive about this team lol
