Yesterday's price is not today's price, so bringing up Jonathan Taylor or Saquon isn't entirely relevant. Cook gets $12M-$15M on the open market. The closer to 12, the more guaranteed money. He's the only other elite talent this team has at a skill position, so to the "let him walk" crowd - you had better be careful what you wish for. Thats a lot of explosive plays the Bills would be without. He could very well end up in KC.

This is now on Beane, no question he needs to step up.

It's 100% on Beane. Howie Roseman has been firing on all cylinders. Both lines, the skill positions, the draft, and free agency. Brandon Beane has no excuse. -
Bills scored more points than any other team this season..

You're not wrong, but adding more talent is never a bad idea. If I were a GM, that would always be my focus. Look at the Eagles' offensive skill position players. They're loaded AND they draft well. -

We're talking about 2 different things here. The Bills need more talent on offense. That is the point. If Josh wants to play hero all by himself, then he can enjoy not winning Super Bowls. -
Right. The defense scored all the points, had 300 total yards and 3TDs. Half the QBs in the league aren't making those throws nor rushing for 72 yards.

Not a chance.

Every Superbowl with a dominant defensive performance brings about this clarity. When has it ever NOT been the defensive line? Much easier said than done, even if you exhaust your resources. Josh Sweat was a 4th round pick.

I do. When it matters, and someone other than Josh needs to make a play, who is the go-to? Mack? -

If you want to win a Super Bowl next year, it is mostly certainly a necessity. Nobody here has seen anything to suggest Keon will make a leap next season. We saw more from Kincaid his rookie year. How did his sophomore season go? The Bills should be looking to upgrade positions, and not rely on hopes and dreams. -

Saquon is going to the Hall of Fame. 2 or 3 more stellar seasons and he's in. -

This game is going to intensify Beane's inquiries on Garrett and Crosby. -
And of course, he's 100% correct. From time to time I go back to that 1 on 1 interview of Peyton and Ray Lewis just to hear how cerebral they both were in their approach. Peyton brings up a 3rd down from a playoff game vs the Ravens 18 years ago! He's naming the defensive players and what he saw across the line of scrimmage and Ray knows the exact play he's talking about, upset that they had a tell that tipped Manning off on the coverage. Those kinds of guys were on another level and it showed.

I called it. I knew this would happen. Instead of enjoying the moment, they're choosing to remain miserable because the masses aren't falling to their knees over Josh. I seriously wonder if this fanbase is equipped to handle the success of a New England or KC? Would just make them more intolerable? Josh won MVP in maybe the most contested MVP race ever. Quit your crying and take the W.

What are these "underlining situations" you speak of?

Oh, wow. Godspeed, and condolences to his friends and family.

Reverse the stats and EVERYONE on this board would be saying that Allen got robbed. Let's keep it real.
