Did you hear his entire interview or you going to single out that one item? How about when Tomlin continued and stated that it was messed up to put Al in that situation and that he had nothing to apologize for? I guess that's not important, right? Doesn't fit the narrative. Tomlin left the decision in the hands of the team. The TEAM, Villenueva included, agreed not to come out for the anthem. He changed his mind at the last minute and put the entire team in a negative light, while making himself look like a "hero".

He'll be successful so long as Kyle Shanahan is the designer of the offense. Shanny has had success everywhere he has been. He has a great system, just needed the right guy to run it. No way the 9ers let him get away and no chance Garoppolo would want to leave.

If that were the case, everyone would have a Kareem Hunt or Alvin Kamara. For as much bitching as everyone does about Tolbert getting carries, I'm not understanding the hate for adding a complementary and eventual replacement for Shady. Sony Michel will be there in the 3rd round, just like Kareem Hunt.

Neither was Romo, but the talent is there. Surround Kirk with good pieces and, like Romo, he can do damage. Cousins has not had the benefit of a good running game his entire career. Note* I'm not for tying up majority of our cap for Cousins, but I like the idea of having him and a slew of draft picks at our disposal.
