This is his livelihood and his 1 and only shot a big contract. Who gaf about what the fan base thinks?
Remove Cook from this offense and then what? What do the Bills have outside of Allen?
Take note from Roseman and pay your talent, and when at all possible add more.
Hey, remember when this board used to reference Singletary's 4.5 ypc to suggest Barkley wouldn't be a huge upgrade or difference maker?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Keeping that trio together is the best thing Cinci can do, and they've got Chase Brown on his rookie deal for 2 more seasons, at least.
There isn't a more dangerous offense in football. (Philly, maybe)
I used to think that until today.
If Brady is insistent on hitting the short and intermediate routes, then fine. Let's work those areas of the field.
Figure it out.
For a WR needy Bills team, it was as awful a selection then as it is now.
I don't care what other teams did. The Bills should have drafted him.
Cordy Glenn was a disappointment and is currently out of the league. There's an 11 page thread on trading for DK.
There's that, too. Kenny Golladay put up numbers with guys I can't even name without looking them up.
I don't want to sell him completely short, but Metcalf is entering "Looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane" territory.
He not a bad receiver, but he's not elite either. Not even close.
I'd rather have 24 year old Romeo Doubs. Especially when you factor in DK's contract.
His production doesn't warrant anything close to $25M-$30M per year.
For all of his potential, he underperforms, in my opinion. He should be a consistent 1200-1500 yard 10 TD guy.
DK has Megatron's build, but prime Tyler Lockett production.
How much of that has to do with QB play, I'm not sure.
This is a team-friendlyish deal.
Shakir is happy where he is, being in a great football city, as an integral part of the offense and playing with an elite QB.
If all goes well, he'll be 29 and ready for another sizable deal when this one is up.
Kirk from a few years ago, sure.
This version's arm is cooked. Midway through the season he had no steam on his throws. Don't know if that's achilles related or not?
I don't think anything Cook is doing sways Beane one way or the other. They have him under contract for another season. I doubt they're going to burn any picks on a RB this go around.
I expect Ty back, along with Davis and we'll see what happens with James.
Edit: I strongly disagree that he's made a big mistake. This is his 1 shot to get as much money as he can before he reaches 30.
He's going for it and he absolutely should.
