    Sorrt of. 51 total TDs to 14 turnovers for Burrow. Brees's best year, he had 47 total TDs and 14 turnovers. He averaged about 18 turnovers per year in his prime. Averaged. Some years were atrocious.

    Brees was a stat padder and turned the ball over a lot. He may have had 1 season where he was worthy of supplanting Brady or Manning or Rodgers.

    It's pretty widley known how difficult lit is for a non-QB to win. Not sure how I would prove that. Todd Gurley should have won in 2017.

    He's been facing condensed defenses throughout his career. What threat has Baltimore ever posed on the outside that commamded a defense's attention away from Lamar and their runing game? This isn't new.

    Precedent was broken a while ago when it was decided that only QBs can win the award, unless a RB rushes for 2,000 yards - which will also be broken this year.

    Passer rating aside, when has Tannehill ever run for 1,000 yards or thrown 40 TDs? Lamar has less interceptions in more games played. Nobody is confusing any version of Ryan Tannehill for Lamar Jackson. Hell, Tennessee probably wins a Superbowl with Lamar at QB during those years.
