  1. He just needs targets.
  2. Had a feeling the defense would show up today.
  3. Yes. Yes I am. Henry is an all time great, but I'm talking here and now. Cook is not the workhorse that Henry is, but he's every bit the threat to score on any play. A whopping 17 yards per game. So clear. He's not in my top-10 - and that's not a slight. There's so much talent at the WR position. If you're 15th, you're still damn good.
  4. Is that the player, the scheme or a mixture of both? How do you think the threat of Lamar and Henry play into that particular stat? I highly doubt many would rather have Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman over Khalil Shakir and Amari Cooper.
  5. Fair enough, but I don't understand why so many care what these pundits think? They have a right to their opinion just like everyone else. I did not follow this entire thread, so apologies for not seeing your praise for Lamar. If Baltimore had a comparable record, he'd likely win because the numbers are off the charts. Both he and Allen are in similar situations. Dynamite lead backs, decent receivers and porous defenses. Zay, the rookie, Mark Andrews who missed 7 games and Bateman. Bateman could have gone without mentioning. That's a 4 win team without Jackson, at best.
  6. Nobody cares about the Pro Bowl. Lamar doesn't have 3 MVPs. Josh was robbed of all-pro in 2022. It happens. He isn't the first and he won't be the last.
  7. Don't mistake it. We're debating, but just splitting hairs here. Allen is phenomenal! So is Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar and *Rodgers (until the achilles). I'm saying that Josh's gaudy stats actually work against him if they don't result in Lombardis. It's the truth. The gift and the curse. All Pro >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pro Bowl The same Nick Wright who thinks LeBron is greater than Michael Jordan? He's just there for entertainment.
  8. Lamar's team had the best record in football. Look at that roster and tell me who he had helping him. I love how you already have the next whine fest cued up when Allen wins. It's like nothing makes you guys happy. It's weird. Mark my words, there will be a thread full of complaining AFTER Josh wins. People are going to be mad that voters dare cast for anyone not named Josh Allen. Watch. Rodgers is the best QB I've ever seen. The accuracy, ball placement, quick release, velocity on his throws and he was mobile. He had it all.
  9. It's pretty common to sometimes root for people that look like you. Representation is important. It's why Eminem is #1 selling rapper of all time. This isn't news. Oh no, Allen lost a playoff game because of poor coaching and defense. Aaron Rodgers knows this pain all took well. He dealt with it for the majority of his prime years. Can you illuminate on that 10 point performance Allen put up in the divisional round? You can be a fan without being a blind loyalist. Josh is not above criticism and without a Super Bowl ring in these next few years, he's going to be closer to that Marino category.
  10. And all of those gaudy stats have resulted in what? You could argue Lamar's win last year, but he was the QB of the team with the best record in the league that featured who outside of him? His first MVP was an easy choice. He won't win it this year unless Allen collapses, but I'm sure fans will still find reasons to complain. "It's should have ben unanimous." I can see it now. Josh has simply been unfortunate to live during an era of Mahomes, the end of Rodger's prime and Lamar, but he'll win it this year in all likelihood.
  11. This board makes a habit of pooping on any QB that isn't Josh Allen. I had someone tell me Burrow was "a checkdown artist that had been figured out" a couple months ago. The Lamar hate goes all the way back to the draft process and has never stopped. Fans are now trying to downplay Mahomes's greatness because he hasn't thrown for 5,000 yards and 40 TDs the last couple of seasons. They're crediting Reid with all his success. Now I'm reading that Josh is receiving criticism because of racism. 😆 Heaven forbid that everyone isn't on their knees for a QB that has seen exactly 1 AFC Championship game. Victim mentality, you say? The lack of awareness is blinding.
  12. Josh played better than his stats for the most part, but he had 29 TDs and 18 INTs. He wasn't going to win with those numbers.
  13. I'm sure he's thinking about that game check hitting his account.
  14. They're punting?! Seriously!
  15. I'm starting to think he needs corrective vision. He missed Njigba and DK wide open earlier.
  16. There is a zero percent chance the Bears can make up that lost yardage. Might as well bring out the punter now.
  17. What a ***** game. Neither defense is outstanding either. It's piss poor execution on offense.
  18. DK isn't good enough to be consciously costing his team 15 yards.
  19. I think this has been a very good WR class overall. Look at what McMillan is doing with his opportunities in Tampa and he was #92 overall.
  20. For anyone curious, here's a teaser. Real Sports was a gem.
  21. Referencing Real Sports (HBO) again, a HS kid went into cardiac arrest and a couple of students were sent to the Principle's office to retrieve the AED (it should have been within reach at the event). Neither knew where it was and by the time they ran there, searched for it and ran back it was too late. Hopefully all of this is being taken into account along with these new resources.
  22. A long time coming. After what happened to Damar in Cinci, Real Sports (HBO) did an excellent piece on AEDs being and not being in schools. It was shocking hearing the numbers of how often this sort of thing happens at high schools around the country.
  23. Happy Holidays, folks. Go Bills!
  24. GB is another team that once they're in, look out. Particularly with how well they run the ball. Lest everyone forget the 1st two games Love had last post season. He's a gamer.
