    There was an instance during the final drive where Romo made an observation that Shanahan called timeout because he didn't like Wilks's aggressive call.

    Too many holes to fill for that kind of optimism. Right now, the hope is that Diggs is still the guy we remember. For 11 straight weeks he didn't look like it.

    An achilles and an ACL 2 years ago. He'll never be what he once was and certainly not worth his price tag.

    However it was presented, op is right. Coming off an ACL and now an achilles, Tre is all but done. I don't see how you can justify paying him $16 million this season.

    No doubt, it's not good enough to just get there, but we know that he can and with various talent at the QB position. It would be a promising outlook.

    But the Bills don't have any of those guys. Kyle would simply bring in talent to fit his system. Josh is of the caliber where he can elevate the guys around him.

    The next 2 seasons are mini rebuilding years. Sure, they'll be competitive, but Super Bowl window is closed until the offense gets sorted. Mainly at WR.

    For me, there is no comparison. I don't even dislike the Chiefs yet.

    Shanahan hasn't gotten it done yet, but his offenses have gone to 3 Super Bowls. 2 of them with Garopollo and a 2nd year QB that was the last pick in the draft. Give Kyle a Josh Allen and see what happens. I guarantee that elusive Allen MVP is as good as won.

    I should have been more specific. Single season records. I'm talking passing yards and TDs. Not these, "1st person to ever do a handstand and complete a pass" type of stats. If CMC ran for 2,000, he'd be the MVP. If Tyreek had 2,000 yards receiving, he likely would have won.

    Unfortunately, RBs don't get the respect they deserve. Go have a look at the INT totals for the top QBs in 1988.

    Is everyone done crying yet? There will never be a MVP with an 11-6 team that has committed 23 turnovers, unless they've broken a record of some sort. It's just not happening.
