  1. Penicillin was discovered by accident. Viagra, ozempic, etc all had unintended consequences. It seems to be the natural order of the world. The Bills could have prevented the trade, you mean?
  2. Like it or not, Patrick Mahomes is already a top 5 QB all-time in his young career. The Bills are facing one of the greatest teams in league history that is currently on one of the greatest runs in league history. Think about how monumental that is. We are Steve Young's 49ers or Peyton's Colts trying to get over the hump.
  3. That's another discussion. It was a difficult readjustment, but he should have had it.
  4. If they had done like Warner explained, it would have been best case scenario even if the blitz had come from the left. The whole point is that the team should have been better prepared to take the best course of action which would have been to slide protection to the right. Torrence isn't helping their case with his assessment. It's understandable why they did it, but it wasn't correct. A Hall of Fame, former league MVP and Superbowl winning QB is explaining why it was the wrong call.
  5. Warner explains, and very well, why protection should have slid right with the 2 hot reads as his options.
  6. I wouldn't want Pickens for a 5th rounder.
  7. He shouldn't have been out there. It's never a good idea to play through injury, I don't care what anybody says. It ruins careers (Cam, Dez, etc)
  8. The jury is still out on a lot of these guys.
  9. No. The Bills do not create pressure like the Eagles defense does.
  10. The most points... The Chiefs scored 26 or more points 9x this season. Are you all really hanging on to this?
  11. So the Bills defense is atrocious for allowing 32 pts to be scored, but KC's defense is dominant for allowing 29? I don't get it.
  12. Much easier to find a pass catcher than a pass rusher.
  13. Buffalo can't stop Philly's offense and their defense is the best remaining in the post-season. Barkley may have set a Super Bowl rushing record.
  14. Flawed argument as the Chiefs also give up a good amount of points to the Bills. These games aren't blowouts and aside from 2020, they've all come down to the final drive. You think this is bad, go look at what Rodgers defenses did to him in GB during the post season. They gave up an average of 33.5ppg and they weren't playing Reid and Mahomes's Chiefs every game.
  15. There are so many variables that go into that. The defensive play call vs what was called on offense. The QB making the right read. How long the QB held onto the ball. Has the play broken down? Did a defender slip or use bad leverage? Is the defender slower than the receiver they're covering? It goes on and on.
  16. A win is a win. These things aren't linear.
  17. Somehow, too many on this board discount how cerebral Mahomes is as well as his leadership. Pretending that it's purely coaching or the other skill players is a bad coping mechanism.
  18. Nope and it doesn't matter because he's not getting fired. This late in any possible coaching search, who would you replace him with anyway?
  19. He doesn't fit this offense. I thought he would, but I was wrong.
  20. Not that Beane had a shot of landing either, but Nabers or Thomas would have made a difference today.
  21. Emotions are high. I get it. I consider myself one of the OG members of the "Fire McDermott" brigade until this year. I don't feel that way now. He's a damn good coach. There were no real coaching blunders today. They just lost. Again and again, this team needs more talent. A game-breaking WR to compliment Allen and Cook. I don't care what other teams do. That's what THIS team needs. I'm tired of repeating myself.
  22. It wasn't an easy catch but he should have had it.
  23. I should bump Mack Hollins signed thread. I told yall!
  24. We need a James Cook equivalent in the receiver corps.
