  1. 4 years spent on Baltimore's backup. That's 3 years spent on Trent, 3 on Fitzpatrick and we're going on our 3rd with Taylor. This team has a chance on a National Champion and passed again.
  2. This is always said but I don't believe it. We knew James Hardy was a bust halfway through his rookie year. We knew Troup over Gronk was a mistake by the start of his second Training Camp. We saw that when Cyrus K couldn't win a starting O Line spot in 2 years that he was a bust.
  3. I agree. You are sitting at #44, only three WRs have come off the board. And the thought process is move up 7 spots and that costs the #91 pick you just got in exchange for #149? Zay Jones is worth 58 spots of Draft position? Same thing with Dawkins. You have a pick at #75, but you have to trade up the 60's and go a net -2 picks there? We need help/depth everywhere - DE/DT, LB, CB, S, WR, RB, QB and we are just handing away picks. Thats Doug Whaley - paranoid.
  4. Yeah I don't like the decision making. Davis, Williams, Ross went in the first, but after that every WR was still left on the board. Not worth losing 58 positions.
  5. Like I said, numerous WRs with similar or better grades. Gave up #91 to move up 7 spots?
  6. I'm not sure why the Bills decided to do this. There were multiple WRs on the board. Seems wasteful to give up #91 to move 7 spots.
  7. Yeah and he is sure to work the "I lived in Florida" angle into every conversation he has on the radio.
  8. No he doesn't. He is a fan with a microphone. He doesn't really "know football". When he talks he says "schemes" and "systems" - but could he diagram a play? No. He reads and listens to the National Press for the breaking stories and Mock Drafts. I have never viewed him as an expert that gives insider information. He gives fan-like opinions.
  9. Here is what I see. Put the emotion aside, the Bills are trending towards another 6, 7, 8 win season. That means next season the Bills will be picking in the 9th - 11th range. The Chiefs were 12-4 last year. Say they drop 2 games, go to 10-6. They will be picking in the low 20's. The 10th pick and 23rd pick will not be enough to get up to the top of the draft to get Darnold or Rosen. Why do fans (and analysts who agree) say that "its a QB driven league" when the Bills NEVER DRAFT A QB? When is the right time? Because we are going on Year 3 with Baltimore's backup. Just like we did 3 years with Trent Edwards, and 3 more years with Ryan Fitzpatrick. When are we going to get our QB?
  10. Winfield 99', Clements 01', Whitner 06', McKelvin 08', Gilmore 12' - We've seen this movie before.
  11. Sal is not knowledgeable. He is a fan like the rest of us who watches stories get broke by Schefter. He has no insight or knowledge into what is happening.
  12. Not if you finish like you always do (9th - 11th pick) and the Chiefs are drafting in the 20's.....
  13. It's the right question to ask. The Bills keep kicking the can down the road at QB, and two more AFC teams took their shot. When do we get to winning?
  14. Wrong, Bills fans want to feel like Chiefs fans today. That their team admitted they will never win anything unless they get a QB. They took the chance to get a QB. Instead we take a corner to fill a hole. That's great and logical, but nothing changes with the Bills today.
  15. Ok, however, you have to admit the Bills have capped their upside this year. Right? Same QB starting, one quality WR, 1st Round corner to replace the corner we just lost in FA, looking forward to 2018. I'm not mad, but I'm also not buying the Kool-Aid that we are suddenly on a winning path. We didn't do anything amazing. We are the same 6 ,7, 8 win team, hoping that KC and Houston didn't just get a stud QB. Again, no outrage here, I didn't throw anything or punch a dog, I just don't see how this adds any upside to the Bills. You didn't get an elite talent like Foster, Howard, Hooker, etc, and you are just delaying the inevitable - Tyrod is not good enough to win anything, so someday we will need a QB.
  16. I am squarely at show me Buffalo. McDermott has said nothing so far in his 3-4 months here that excites me or makes me think he is any different than Dick Jauron or Doug Marrone. They woke up really early, worked hard, studied tape and spoke in platitudes too. We've done the whole 1st Round corner thing. We know that doesn't lead to winning. Winfield, Clements, McKelvin, Gilmore. I think we are trending towards another 6, 7, 8 win season.
  17. Because its all the same thing. McDermott is talking about coming in and competing. That's what every coach the last 97 years here talks about. Working hard. Because for the 11th time since 1990 the Bills have taken a corner. Because once again the Bills have kicked the can down the road at Quarterback. You have to hope now that Watson and Mahomes don't pan out, or else that's two more AFC teams you will have to try and hop over if you ever want to win anything again. Its not that I'm mad, but golf clap, we take another corner and are trending towards the same 6,7,8 wins again. That's why. Pretty simple.
  18. Better hope that Watson and Mahomes don't blow up because the Bills once again have passed on QB as their AFC rivals jump ahead of them.
  19. Is Pegula any better than Jimmy Haslam? Because we are the Browns 2.0 with as much turmoil we have had to start Pegula's tenure. It's story after story escaping that building.
  20. The Bills (with Brandon in the organization) have shown a tendency to become enamored with guys and never having a plan. See extending Jauron after 4-0 in 2008 Falling head over heels with Syracuse's Coach and allowing a $4M buyout. Russ telling Pegula don't let him leave and likes wine. Now we're the buttoned down Buffalo Bills.
  21. I have had enough of small, skinny, fast guy. No thanks, I mean at best he is Desean Jackson? No thanks. I'd rather have a Julio Jones type. Except Samuel has stone hands.
