  1. I’m out of touch with today’s generation of kids but sometimes I think about kids who might relish virtual learning. I probably woulda been one, being bullied that is. In high school I got stuffed in a locker a few times and had it bad on bus rides home from school. Enough so I’d hide out in the library/bathroom for hours. Eventually I somewhat confronted it though. Sorry if this thread comes off depressing. Go Bills
  2. As per my avatar Steve Christie was one of my favorite Bills. But I thought one of the most underrated plays and possibly the best play in Bills history was his recovering the suicide kick in The Comeback at 35-10. If that doesn't happen I don't think The Comeback happens. It was the start of the momentum swing. Hell, even to this day that play inspires me to do something outside of the box when things aren't working
  3. Fritos Utz potato chips Utz pretzels
  4. I tend to believe you never have to apologize for a win in the NFL. One can argue Cam tried to aggressively run with the ball late in the game because the Pats/Belichick thought they might not have won the game in OT. Look I'm far from a Bills homer and realize the team is nowhere near the KC's/Baltimore's/Pittsburgh's of the conference in terms of being a complete team. Still finally beating the Patriots in a meaningful game and becoming a shoe in to win the AFC East feels pretty good.
  5. Not living in NYC I don't have much an opinion on DeBlasio. But that NY Post article was clearly written with someone with an agenda
  6. Yeah I have to admit whenever I heard his name I always thought of "The Rapist" first 😂 A more than impressive life and career though. RIP
  7. He’s been my favorite Bills player since last year. I love he’s a guy around my size (5’9”, 170 lbs) that has success in the NFL Plus he has own personality and flavor without coming across as d-baggy. I love that I dig this dude
  8. Agree, I think the coaching here didn’t handle him in the best ways. But to say the Bills stopped him from having some success ultimately as a starter in the NFL seems a little foolish to me. I still think he could’ve went about it differently, Ill leave it there with this thread
  9. Respect your opinion but I always did feel EJ didn’t have the mental toughness as well to play in the league. It appeared he got down on himself easily. That I think could have been worked on
  10. It could be done. Randall Cunningham was more a running back kind of QB when he came into the league but became more of pocket passer with the Vikings in the late 90's. Anyway if he really didn't like his time with Buffalo that much, that would have offered him a much different change of scenery
  11. Growing up in Central New Jersey it seemed like everyone of a certain age felt some connection to the band. Yeah Bon Jovi used to come to my pizza parlor before he got big or Richie Sambora was at some party my BFF had back in the day. I never hated them but never was a fan and couldn't relate at all to these stories. Then again I've never really fit in with my surroundings and liked The Bills growing up there. The main issue I have with him is it sounds like he's personally bitter at Buffaloians who had nothing at all to do with it. In the end it's not something I'll lose sleep over
  12. I always thought his best plan for long term success in the NFL after Buffalo, was to play in the Canadian league. There he could have got a better foundation for his game and work on the things that he felt needed to be adjusted. Like Doug Flutie to some extent I'm happy for him if he's happy with his life but in the long run I don't think the Bills necessarily ruined him
  13. 0:37 has in this video has been up for questions for years
  14. I collected them when I was younger. It was used as a motivation for me on my report card because my parents would get so many packs for however many As I got. Mid 90s I stopped and threw out most of my collection Any Better Call Saul fans would appreciate this character and his baseball cards
  15. In a way he was the 1st head coach this century to oversee the team coming back to a certain amount of respectability... The team finished 9-7 in 2014 and for as much of a boob as Ryan turned out to be, it did attract him a high profile coach at the time. But yeah it seemed to all work out in the long run 👍
  16. Well just because
  17. What a difference 10 years makes.... One of the low points in Bills fandom in my lifetime came after Week 3 in 2010. The Jets came to Orchard Park and completely handed us a butt kicking. Putting the team record at 0-3 that year. The threat of relocation from Buffalo was also very real at this point. Living in Jets territory people were calling into the WFAN here with exactly your sentiments. They felt bad for the Bills and their fans. I think Joe Benigno (radio personality here) even had on a guest on who was talking about the possible move of the team to LA at the time. But yeah I don't think the Jets are relocating anywhere but it's the exact reversal of fortunes for the 2 teams! I just thought I would kinda enjoy seeing this day more than I am
  18. Never did it and never got promoted with the company pushing 10 years now At the end of the day though I’d rather be my own man
  19. I make polite conversation with managers at times. Not much though beyond talking about generic stuff like Netflix shows. Some people do this where I work a lot. While yes I think it helps them get promoted at times, a lot of times these people in their new roles don’t last. I know one friend who works for a public accountant firm said it’s pretty bad at his firm. Pre pandemic hanging out at happy hours was an unwritten expectation. What are others experiences?
  20. Two tickets- both for going through red lights Keeping with the quote of if you don’t have something nice to say about someone don’t say it..... I’ll just leave it there with the officers
  21. If I understand it correct they'll still have "5% ownership" of the team if this deal goes through. My gut feeling is they're still not completely going away
  22. Can you prove there were no School Zone signs?
  23. That sucks. Tough break. Maybe there's something in this article that can help even though it references the roof? https://www.autohailhq.com/blog/2019/7/8/5-tricks-you-can-use-to-remove-dents-on-your-car-roof If you have a trusted auto mechanic I'd just bite the bullet and go that route. I'd probably wind up making it worse if I tried to fix it
  24. Since you were a diehard Bulls fan and started this thread, do you remember this movie at all? I sort of remember it from my high school days. I thought at the time it was cheesy but enjoyable. Re-watching parts of it now does bring back some nostalgia, but yeah its not a really well made movie lol. Then I found out the actor that played Michael murdered his wife in real life and is in jail for life 🤢 So much for that trip down memory lane!
