Anyone interested in Coming 2 America? Pretty much the ads seem inescapable. The 1st was all right, funny enough. I'm thinking it might be worth a look -

Lil' Gugny Wugny. -
Sports and business imo seems to place a greater and greater emphasis on analytics and numbers. I don't follow it at all but I know about the PFF website. In baseball there's the whole Moneyball approach with changed the game. In business where I work I see it as well. Long term/Managed Care insurance companies place greater and greater emphasis on analytics/algorithms for patient based approvals based on numerous factors such as therapy progress, medical and wound notes, and even some human factors of patient family support. But personally I always liked working with numbers. There's mental exercises I do every now and then involving them. Per say sometimes I'm curious just how many posts I've done a day on this site since I belonged. Comes to 2996 posts/1452 days= 2.0633608154 posts per day for almost 4 years 🙂

In the years I’ve been a member here it seems most posters don’t live in the Buffalo area. The site is a good place for outside fans to get their Bills fix. Family or work responsibilities which caused relocation. Anyone though live in one state/general area their whole life. In my 30s now I’d be open to relocation but I gotta think as well about keeping an eye on my folks with health issues.

Would the Bills have beaten the Bucs?
Another Fan replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. It's one thing to lose to Brady all the time in front of the local fanbases. It'd be brutal imo to lose in front of the whole world to him and be reminded how he owns the Bills. I doubt the Bills could have beaten the Bucs. Besides the matchup issues is Brady and the Bucs have more experience in the Super Bowl -
Well apparently the organization has more skeletons in its closet with this stuff. For whatever reason the Mickey Callaway allegations did genuinely bother me. In the sense that when he was the Mets manager I kinda knew he wasn't the best in game manager but I did always feel he carried himself with a certain amount of integrity that made me want to stand up for him. All washed away now 🤮

So two things I saw in the news today Mets related: https://www.mlb.com/news/daniel-murphy-retires-from-baseball Dan Murphy is calling it quits from MLB. I'm not going to comment on his personality or his life off the field but from a baseball perspective he was a favorite Met of mine. I felt he was always sort of had a lot of natural innate ability as a hitter but humbled himself to work really really hard on the rest of his game as well. This show cased itself most in the 2015 NLCS where he had a series that would have made Babe Ruth envious. I know defense was never a strong point for him but I thought as well he worked hard enough on it to become average at the end there. It seemed to me the powers that be never really warmed up to him and let him walk. In some ways I was happy to still see him do well as a National. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/30/gamestop-point72-founder-steve-cohen-leaves-twitter-after-family-receives-threats.html New owner, Steve Cohen. I'll be honest I know nothing at all about Gamestop. Steve has talked a good game so far since he took over being owner. Done more to connect with the fans so far than the Wilpons have in 40 years as owners. At the same time I thought Rex Ryan talked a good game as well when he took the Bills job. So yeah while he's a breathe of fresh air at the same time though I'll still assume it's lip service until proven otherwise.

Was that our easiest playoff loss to take?
Another Fan replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was okay with the loss in the sense that in my heart of hearts I didn't think the Bills were a Super Bowl caliber team... yet. And it's not like the team lost its window of opportunity. Josh is still young and growing/improving along with Coach McDermott. I mean geez how long did it take Andy Reid to get over the hump coaching wise. Plus I'll admit I'm not sure how'd the Bills would have fared in a Super Bowl versus the Bucs. I'd give the Bucs a 65/35 chance to win based on experience. Losing to Tom Brady again this time in front of millions and millions of people would have been hard to digest -
Greatest Plays in Bills History
Another Fan replied to 1st Ammendment NoMas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree on the importance of this play. Besides obviously breaking the drought it had bigger ramifications imo than just that: Does the team trade up for Josh in the offseason if the Bills don't make the playoffs? I mean God Bless Tyrod and not trying to knock him but the playoff game versus the Jaguars I think showed pretty much everyone he'd only get you so far. If that doesn't happen the team maybe rolls with him another year or goes after Kirk Cousins. Would the FO and fans be as patient with McDermott's rebuild in 2018 if the team was still in a drought? Yes 9-7 wouldn't be bad but I just don't think McDermott's Trust The Process lines would have flown without breaking the drought. Imo as well 2018 was pivotal to establishing the foundations of what we are seeing now. Trading Watkins would have been a big WTF I think otherwise. So yes Bills fans should still always be eternally grateful to those two. But I'd mention Beebe's strip of Lett in the Super Bowl. Symbolized the never give up attitude -
Somebody's not exactly doing their job with background checks or something within the organization. I mean just last year it sounded like ignoring Beltran about his possible involvement with the cheating scandal?

Real Patriots fans should be careful what they're wishing for. I remember the Patriots 1st Super Bowl run in 2001 I pulled for them. A combination of them being the underdogs, them playing in very cold weather as well, I liked the Tom Brady story at the time, and I was tired of the Rams at the time. I severely came to regret that years later!!

When Will Josh Allen Get A National Commercial?

I watched the game from home in my bedroom. I was of course happy for Buffalo and all the passionate fans who waited a long time for that. A lot of posters here more so than myself. On a personal note my Dad's not been having a very good year so far. His mother (my grandmother died last week) and now he is diagnosed with Covid. Last night I'm thinking might have been the peak of the condition with his coughing and difficulty talking. While he was never a big football/Bills fan there's always a sense of happiness he feels seeing the team do well. He got me into liking the Bills in the 1st place. So I kept telling him the Bills are 1 win away from the Super Bowl which made him smile. Not much else is these days. ☹️

Emotional attachment to Bills - perspective welcomed
Another Fan replied to Rockee96's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Early 90's is when I started watching football and sports in general. While not really a football fan my dad would always root for them in the playoffs/Super Bowl as he spoke fondly of his time working in the Buffalo area. So I guess in that sense Bills fandom is sort apart of my DNA. I'll admit my fandom has waned over the years sometimes just revolving what's going on in my life. Other times I'm very passionate. Heck most posters here are probably more loyal/devoted fans, I only own two Bills hats and a Christmas Bills sweater. It's something about WNY/Buffaloians I admire though that always make want to see the Bills do well. Generally some of the most hospitable, friendly, unpretentious people I've come across in my travels. Heck I even somewhat rooted for The blue Jays the past year since they were playing in Coca Cola Stadium. Welcome!! -
Well enjoy your b'day as much as possible in this new normal world!

You kind of knew a Frank Reich team would come in prepared. Heck I think he was the brains behind the Eagles Super Bowl win. Although whosever decision it was to go for it on 4th and Goal before halftime for the Colts REALLY came back to haunt them. I think though the year of the 1990 Super Bowl run the first game against the Dolphins was the toughest that year? Same thing with The Comeback in the 1992 season.

I know I feel like the world is a mess now but the 90 AFC Championship game kept getting interrupted with Dessert Storm updates. 13-3 that year too In terms of football idk if I’d say it’s the early 90s yet. We were expected to win the Super Bowl every year back then. The bar is set high but not quite there yet?

Why the year we might have a legit shot of winning the Super Bowl again the country falls apart 😫

All of that as well as not lowering the national debt in his years in office https://www.statista.com/statistics/187867/public-debt-of-the-united-states-since-1990/ I understood his appeal at first and was empathetic to his supporters but the experiment didn’t work. Time to move on

Trumps a POS/narcissist/garbage that deserves to be tried for all his crimes after he leaves office. If people can’t see that now I don’t know what else to say. If I wanted to take a very slight silver lining from all that yesterday it’s that these elected officials might have felt some fear most Americans face day to day. For example I expose myself working in a building with Covid everyday making a working class wage. For performance or budgeting related reasons I fear every day could be my last. Elected officials mostly have cushy/well compensated jobs. I’m not excusing the behavior in the slightest at all I’m just saying I’m deeply saddened though to hear at least 4 people had to die in that.
