  1. The last game of 2015 truly might have been the weirdest game in Bills history. Just being how much Fitz embraced being a Bills fan in his retired life
  2. @Gugny @ExWNYer @SinceThe70s Brutal. Team doesn't even deserve to be in the playoffs if this keeps up. The only positive note is McLean looks more and more like the real deal.
  3. Her too. Though in retrospect Jenny and Pam def stand out as the more Playboy bunny types.
  4. She's still very very cute watching this today
  5. One of the funniest things I remember from starting high school…. We had those icebreakers where you say what your favorite movie was. This one guy Shawn straight up mentioned this one which still makes me laugh today. Yeah she and Pam were the it blonde girls for kids of the 90s
  6. Yeah only years I found the Jets real annoying were from 2010-mid 2012 (butt fumble). I didn’t even mind their success so much as Rex’s whole persona then.
  7. That’s a good point. As of late I’ve found Jets fans to actually be pretty good football fans to talk too…. But yeah probably they are real fans of the team that are still sticking with them
  8. I mean there’s the whole New York name thing. But it seems historically only the early 80s and late 90s are the times they were good at the same time. The 81 Playoff game the only post season match up. They haven’t exactly been much a threat during the Josh Allen era. Even in the Super Bowl years the Bills won something like 12 games in a row against them. It was like a huge deal for the Jets when they beat them in 92’ I think to break that streak. The week after the Dennis Byrd incident. Historically the Bills have had more success vs the Jets then Miami and New England
  9. I don’t bother anymore…. Like when those kids getting killed into a Church turns into political shouting matches online…I just can’t
  10. I wouldn’t have picked up on that either. My first reaction was that story was real funny…. Vincent always comes across like a very sort of angry guy irl but she comes off like a very nice person. Family dynamics for you. I have my own I deal with for sure
  11. I know I’ve started threads here about Buffalo 66 in the past. As it turns out Vincent Gallos mom really is that big a Bills fan and more vs the character in that film. Perhaps some here recognize her from games? I think a good chance she sees her life long goal of a Super Bowl this year https://spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/buffalo/news/2023/09/15/original-bills-fan-has-missed-three-home-games-since-1960
  12. This weekend was the first time I checked out Reddit for politics. I thought it was an absolute joke. I started off going to the subreddit Centrist. I thought by definition it would be folks who don’t like Trump and Republicans but who find Democrats just as infuriating as well. The whole page is an extremely anti Trump echo chamber and anyone who criticizes Dems get talked over, And that was supposed to be the centrist page? That site is a joke for politics
  13. Notice how they offer no solutions on their own about anything. Just to “educate” everyone how wrong or evil they are if they voted or support Trump. Even though someone like AOC is a bit on the progressive side for me…. at least she comes off somewhat authentic to me. Was impressed that she called out health insurance companies lately.
  14. The glass half full is it feels like she’s almost ready to break through and win a grand slam…. She’s just not quite there yet
  15. I know the board had some Swifties. Just not really a fan. But new stuff from Lady Gaga I’ll usually check out. Like this song.
  16. I didn't bother to watch it. Seems the consensus was I didn't miss much. Admittedly I'm the type of person where if it showed the Bills as a bunch of party animals, I'd be complaining to focus more. If it showed the Bills as boring (which seems a bit of the consensus) I'd be complaining they lack any sort of character. Better I skipped
  17. I thought in the post season last year Baltimore in the 2nd half/Kansas City had a fair amount of success in neutralizing Josh. I see other teams taking their lead more. Josh needs to be cut more loose when it gets to the bigger games. McDermott's been a great coach for the franchise but I still question if he's a coach that turn the team from great to Super Bowl champions.
  18. I’m sure a thread gets asked annually. I’ll start 2014- against the Bears. Pretty much nobody thought the Bills were going to win before that day. The Bears were predicted to be really strong at the start of the season. The game started 7-0 Bears and I thought it was a nice day out…. I’ll take a walk/jog instead of getting aggravated. Very much to my surprise the Bills were up 17-14 when I put the game in again in the second half. Then in overtime that epic run by Freddie where he stif armed than defender Forte to get it to the goal line. Very pleased that day…. Was the first time too the Bills won in Chicago.
  19. You're not alone in feeling this... I'm around a similar age as you and have been with my company and same job for 10 years also. My case is ironic in a way, my job caused me a lot of job related anxiety over the years. To which I've PM'd members here on the side about as well. You included I'm pretty sure (I think I remember you telling me your wife is a big Bills fan too and you know this was the one). But yeah anyway overtime I built a certain level of comfort at my job. At the same time though I don't think anyone these days should ever really get too comfortable. But yeah my issues now at work just feel like largely just burnout from the industry I'm in and trying to find meaning in every day life kind of thing. I mean yeah I suppose I could find another job in my industry but it would just feel same crap different company/faces kinda deal. I would want to lean toward leaving this industry all together. But yeah I get it
  20. From memory despite all their albums and what not they did..... they all hated each other back in the day as well. Like I want to say they broke each other's bones in backstage fights. Still sad though.... it's like Hall and Oates together for over 40 plus years but today they have restraining orders against each other.
  21. I never actually met Donald Jones but I only picked up on that he was Plainfield, NJ born and raised after he retired (it’s not far from where I grew up. I still shop in the city quite a bit). I gained a lot of respect for him over the years. Besides still being very much a Bills fan in retired life he’s now the head football coach at Plainfield High today trying to mentor the youth. I know when he was a Bill I sort of used to think couldn’t we have at least a drafted receiver. But then there’s the perception of look how hard he worked to became a pro being undrafted. What like .001 percent of high school football players make it as far as he did.
  22. Fantasy baseball was around back then? As I get older though the mental aspect of the game really interests me. Like Mark Sanchez was being interviewed about the butt fumble and he said while it was really embarrassing he looks back on and laughs. Almost like yeah f it. Meanwhile Craig Ehlo had to seek out therapy for how many times Michael would get the better of him. I mean imo Craig had a pretty good career and Michael dominated everyone… I guess in that sense I can respect Mark for not making his whole life about that play
  23. I remember Edgar Martinez as a good hitter. But had no appreciation for the guy until I read more about him. Worked in a factory at one point before he tried out for the Mariners. Quiet, hard working, stayed with the same franchise 17 years. Nobody ever says a bad thing about him… Yeah growing up I appreciate him more today
  24. A certain other thread made me nostalgic when these two were the most popular pop girls. And dang this picture is 25 years old already.
