I watched yesterday's game with my buddy who is a Packers fan. His observation was that he did not believe that Allen trusts his receivers to catch the ball when he throws it. The number of pumps on passing plays was, at times, ridiculous. It was as though he wanted to throw but saw who is the receiver on the other end and decided it wasn't worth the risk. That was his assessment and, in general, I could see that being the case.

Steelers listening to trade offers for Leveon Bell

That's a really good get for a player who, odds are, doesn't see the field this season. @billieve420 made a good play as Cohen has not been effective and, if his team is stacked, that gives him a BIG weapon if Bell does play this year. -
Taron Johnson playing very good ball.

I tried to keep an eye on Edmunds and Lewis last week on D. Was very impressed with Lewis, who had Diggs covered well a number of times. Tre was definitely covering him more, but both did an excellent job. Certainly better than the vaunted Rams secondary did -

Lost in all the celebration: The OL played well.

When Bodine cramped up, I told the group of Vikes fans I was sitting with that it would result in greater pressure. I may be wrong, but I think the very next play was a 7 yard sack. Bodine may not be the long-term answer, but he is the current best one. -
Zay didn't look bad yesterday from what I saw when trying to focus in on him. Routes were good and he was open a few times over the middle and Allen didn't see it or threw elsewhere. I think the more that he and Allen play together, the better he will look. The JuJu comparisons will always haunt us, but I feel that he's going to grow into a WR3 on a playoff squad, which is sufficient to say he's not a complete bust. Tough thing is that he's th Bills WR2 right now. FYI, Holmes is WR1 because he's the only one holding onto the damn ball when he gets 3 or more targets

I assume you know this is not the good Michael Bennett currently playing on the Eagles. He would not be a character fit, but we could definitely use him. You're righ about Pastzor. He has started in this league and is well worth a tire kick. -

Man. Is nobody going to this game? I would have thought somebody else would want to check out US Bank stadium and see the Mary Tyler Moore statue. -

So sorry to see this. Not a worse feeling in the world than losing a child. Immense prayers and condolences go out to Matt and his family. -
Who's going to witness this weeks "game" in Minny? Thinking a good tailgate in which I get blindly incoherent might make things more pleasant. Go Bills!

Tanner Gentry is the exact WR Bills should sign
MiltonWaddams replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't pick and choose. Those were high-yardage plays that he threw poorly. Those plays both added numbers to his total More than any of his other throws. I'm as bullish on JA's prospects as anyone, but the rose coloured glasses are not to be worn. He's a talent that needs polishing. -

The yardage is skewed by a few big plays (Zay Jones and DiMarco come to mind) where he got lucky that it wasn't picked and had poor ball placement. You're 100% correct in both statements. The line is bad and he's going to need to make quicker reads and trust his receivers to go get the deep ball and lead them with his throws. If he doesn't he's going to lead the league in picks and incompletions really quickly.
