  1. Toronto Portland San Antonio/Austin There are your other 3 teams. But really the NFL could make 33 teams work, they made 31 teams work before the Texans joined the league in 2002. People get too hung up on having the divisions evenly divisible.
  2. Seeing Wyoming as a Bills home market always brings a smile to my face.
  3. I remember the Sabres being first in the league a quarter of the way through the season two years in a row a couple years ago before crashing all the way to the bottom both times. Wake me up when they make the playoffs.
  4. It's gonna be Sweeney and possibly Kumerow splitting time at the TE slot, not going to 4WR sets. Davis being unable to beat out 34 year old Sanders (who apparently found the fountain of youth) for WR2 and thus tons of reps is on him. Davis has proven that he's a quality WR but he hasn't proven that he's "WR2 on a super bowl contender" level good.
  5. If I'm a Lions fan, I'm a functioning alcoholic.
  6. Home field throughout is highly overrated but the bye week is not and that's what I want.
  7. Fun fact, the Bills haven't been in control of their own destiny for the 1 seed since losing to Pitt week 1 since Ravens would have gotten it via common opponents if we had both finished 16-1. Winning out and some luck will probably be needed at this point.
  8. I'd rather only have to play 3 games to win it all instead of 4, wouldn't you?
  9. Personally I would have just tried to draw them off and then called the timeout and kicked, but I understand McDermott going for it and won't fault him at all. Every analytics model on the planet will tell you you're statistically more likely to win if you go for it, especially considering how our D couldn't stop anything in the second half.
  10. The Chiefs missing the playoffs is certainly possible but I would still consider it unlikely. Let's say your four AFC division winners are the Bills, Ravens, Chargers, and Titans. There are three wildcard spots up for grabs, which will (probably) go to three of -Chiefs -Raiders -Browns -Broncos -Bengals -Steelers I don't believe in the Broncos at all so it mostly comes down to the AFCN all splitting with each other and the Raiders and Chargers beating the Chiefs and then the chiefs lose another game or two. I think the Raiders will also have to do some soul searching to win after the Gruden trainwreck so basically pin all of your hopes on the AFCN folks.
  11. Jerruh would throw a fit if the Bills ever tried to have a cowboy or western themed logo. And the bison is the mascot of the entire city anyway. I guarantee the sabres have a lot more branded stuff with a bison on it than a sword.
  12. Total QBR is a made up statistic invented by Trent Dilfer to make game manager QBs (like himself) look good. They won't even tell people how it's calculated!
  13. The one that matters at the end is a road game no matter what, so I would certainly want to win that one.
  14. I didn't even believe "Maddy Glab" was a real person until she got hired by the team...
  15. After Beasley started going off on social media over the summer I didn't even think he'd be on the team this year. The dude can ball but what an absolute head case. Doesn't he know he's only contributing to the "WRs are divas" stereotype???
  16. Edmunds' most impactful play of the game was injuring Poyer by falling on him.
  17. The mere thought of the new Bills stadium being at North Campus is going to give me an aneurysm, what an absolute traffic nightmare. On the plus side it would do amazing things for Elmo's business.
  18. It takes beating the chiefs and then winning out.
  19. Diggs Poyer Hyde White Milano
  20. Because Romo fumbled a snap 18 years ago on a hold.
  21. Edmunds is perfectly qualified to be a starting MLB in the NFL, but I don't consider him to be at all elite. The (apparent) disconnect between McBeane and the fanbase with regards to Edmunds can largely be traced back to how front offices are often married to their 1st round picks, especially if they traded up to get them like with Edmunds while fans usually don't care about that at all. Moving Edmunds to OLB has always been a non-starter, especially after paying Milano. Remember that nickel is pretty much the base defense nowadays and I think the notion of having Milano on the sidelines while Edmunds is out there wouldn't be very popular.
  22. At the risk of letting my inner "Grug hit rock" out, I think it's crazy that people are still trying to use analytics on football. There are too many variables, too many moving parts, and too many intangibles for it it to ever work out like it does in baseball. Don't forget that draftniks and analytics types all said that Allen would be a monumental bust that would shame the Bills franchise for all time. Now he's walking over the corpse of mathematics to claim that future MVP and super bowl ring. There have only ever been two things that matter in football: is the guy fast and does he pass the eye test. So to get back on topic, give me a monster DT who excels in their made up statistic and plug him in on the Bills D-line and watch my average blood pressure while watching the Bills drop dramatically.
  23. Fitz is probably the most beloved player in the NFL today and he deserves it, a true class act who loves the game.
  24. At what point should I start to panic about Diggs? Asking for my friend Jack Daniels.
  25. My first instinct is to immediately say Aaron Donald, but he's no spring chicken anymore so I'd probably go with Chase Young or Nick Bosa. It's going to be a pass rusher either way.
