Beane might want to put a mid-round Center on his draft wish list. Morse has been a good player for us, but between concussions, elbow, ankles, etc he may be coming close to his final page. He still has 2 years on his contract, but could find a Center/guard that could play Guard until time to say bye to Morse. Eric Wood played 2 years at RG before shifting over to Center.

McKenzie had 26 snaps, Shakir had 16. The time is long since past that this needs to be, at a minimum, flipped. McKenzie has reached the very end of a too long rope. He has no value and it has been obvious for a long time.

He’s here or he’s not. At least you’ll be able to figure out some semblance of a plan for the rest of the season. Definitely don’t want this dance to be continuing into the offseason.

I think my favorite is when screams “Touchdown!”, followed by “oh, he dropped it.” Eric Wood saves it for him sometimes, but the sheer volume makes catching all the errors a tough day at the office.
