  1. McD had all off-season to plan for KC, spent a ton of capital on the D, and had his D playing their best ball. And the Chiefs destroyed him and Frazier. Outside of an injury derailing KC, I don’t think McD is capable of beating that team.
  2. McD isn’t going anywhere. And that’s a good thing in terms of keeping a really good thing going but it probably also means this team never wins a championship.
  3. McD and Frazier failed so miserably and wasted one of the greatest opportunities to finally bring a title to Buffalo. It's another very tough day to be a Bills fan. And I don't really think McD or Frazier can improve. They had an entire season to adjust and they got completely overmatched again. So it feels like this team is destined to be 2nd best for years to come.
  4. I was just rooting for the best odds to make the playoffs. My point was that I’m not letting my dislike of another franchise cloud what I think is best for the team I actually root for.
  5. What? Bills have been wildly inconsistent, so I’m not worried about the Pats, I’m worried the Bills will continue to be who they’ve been all year, a hot and cold team. And the posters questioning how other Bills fans can root for the Pats are truly the ones who live in fear of the Pats and their legacy. Hating the Pats is great, but cutting off your nose to spite your face is foolish.
  6. I want the Bills to make the playoffs and I think (not sure, though) that the Colts losing improves the Bills’ chances more, so that’s what I voted for. Just get into the playoffs and anything is possible.
  7. I wonder why Meyer played tough guy with the kicker, lol. But seriously, Lambo let a guy twice his age kick him and talk ***** to him?
  8. I haven't been posting or very active at all since the start of the pandemic, and really missed not being able to use my season tickets with the border closure. After being so excited to get back to the Ralph for a huge game against the Pats, I left completely disappointed. Are we back to only being able to enjoy the tailgating? Because I thought the Bills had finally become a contender...
  9. Wish we were in Hammer's, but a blowout win will ease the pain. Go Bills!
  10. The fact that you carry around a weapon is demonstrating your cavalier attitude. Just sayin’.
  11. Ed ***** up, I hope he is punished appropriately and grows up. What astonishes me every time I read about crimes/shootings in the US is the cavalier way y’all treat firearms. It’s no wonder the US has so many deaths attributed to firearms...
  12. Huge get for Beane. It’s all on Allen now, which scares the crap out of me. Allen got to keep his OC and now has a lot of talent around him.
  13. I enjoyed watching a true professional. Great career.
  14. I was wrong, as I stated in the thread, it was anti-gay org Brees was repping. And I brought it up because it seemed relevant that a team caught up in this mess also has a star player who was caught up in his own religious mess a few months ago.
  15. Good for him! Pretty excited to see what he can do with a full season as the lead back.
  16. Associating with an org that believes in conversion therapy is a bad look. Not as bad as shilling for pedos, but still bad.
  17. It wasn’t Brees being pro-life, it was his association with a radical “Christian” group that I was thinking of. I was wrong, it wasn’t a crazy pro-life org, it was a crazy anti-gay org.
  18. Wasn’t equating the situations, just pointing out that it’s a pattern with this team to be caught up in scandals due to their association with religious outfits. Sorry about your mom’s dog.
  19. Didn’t Brees align with some Pro Life org too this year?
  20. My suggestion was that it will be difficult for Allen to improve next season as much as he did this season, but it's obviously possible, especially considering his lack of snaps in college. I would think anybody suggesting that we move on from Allen is just sore about yesterday or trolling or an idiot. Allen looks like his floor is still enough to be a starter in this league, I just worry his ceiling is limited to an Alex Smith. We'll see how he does with another off season against a much tougher schedule.
  21. I think the point we were discussing was Allen's ability to take another leap from year 2 to year 3, correct? Show me the leaps your talking about in the data below. Ryan (top) was pretty much the same QB all three seasons. Did Ryan have marginal improvements from year 2 to 3, sure. Are we looking for Allen to marginally improve his 45 QBR? No, I think Allen needs significant improvement next year. Allen is below average in virtually every passing metric for QBs. Newton (bottom) is similar to Ryan, showing 2 to 5% improvements in both ratings year over year over year. Again, not what we were talking about. Stafford did show a great improvement from year 2 to 3 but I would attribute that to his injury in year two where he missed 13 games, lol. This falls more inline with the thinking that a QBs significant improvement zone is between years 1 and 2. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/extra-points/2012/quarterback-development-patterns We are all hoping for a big leap from Allen next year, but don't pretend it's a common occurrence.
  22. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/extra-points/2012/quarterback-development-patterns Not sure why I keep engaging with a guy who is incapable of discussing topics in an earnest fashion, but here we are.
  23. We were discussing improvements of QBs from year 2 to year 3, as that is what we are all looking for in Allen. You chimed in that Watson showed improvements from year 1 to year 3, which is A) irrelevant to what we were talking about and B) not even true as his rating and QBR both declined. As I stated, your comprehension skills are sorely lacking. But keep telling every poster that they are wrong, it suits you.
  24. No We were discussing improvements from year 2 to year 3...so you're wrong and also not great at comprehension.
  25. Your hope is admirable, and I mean that sincerely. I'm less convinced than you that the team is set up for success in the future. While it's impossible to argue that the team showed progress, it's hard to gauge where the team stands relative to the elite teams. Improving from last year's stripped down team was inevitable, so I don't want to hang my hat on that achievement. Also, the schedule this year was so soft that I find it hard to gauge where this team is. You give them credit for hanging in a playoff game with Houston, but Houston isn't a good team, they had a negative point differential this season. This season was great fun but it could all be smoke and mirrors. Next season will be a much better indicator about the trajectory of this team as the schedule is brutal. Too bad the season is 8 months away, I want answers now!
