  1. Wow I've been so busy I'm just seeing this. I'm so stoked about this! I really think last season was Knox just starting to scratch the surface of what he can do. Funny how Allen’s 2 BFFs on the team (both on and off the field) just got signed to lucrative extensions...
  2. It's Josh. He's arguably the most talented player in NFL history. https://theathletic.com/3546121/2022/09/01/josh-allen-bills?source=user-shared-article
  3. Man... you 2 would hate living in Hawai'i. Tanks and boardshorts... lots of em all over... even on elderly men. Actually, especially on elderly men.
  4. https://www.si.com/nfl/2022/08/31/nfls-youngest-oldest-rosters-after-tuesdays-cuts Is it a huge concern in the near future? Nah. But at an average age of 26.5 with elite players like Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer and Von Miller on the wrong side of 30 and foundations to the team like Diggs, White and Milano getting there pretty soon, the idea of reloading this team intelligently given an increasingly complicated CAP situation every year is going to become tantamount to annual success.
  5. Now that it's past the cut/waive time can the OP update the post on the first page for all the cuts? Or can someone else make an "Official 53 man roster" thread? I want to know who's been cut, but sifting through this beast is a pain.
  6. What do you think Josh would have done if Keenum got injured in the same way?
  7. I don't know if this got legs in the gameday thread, but I thought it was pretty notable what happened when Darnold injured his ankle/foot. It seemed pretty clear Sam was respected in the locker room with tons of Carolina players coming up to him to pat him on the shoulder or give him whatever reassurances they could. But there was one high profile Panther Quarterback who (at least from what I could see) never even set foot on the field after Sam's injury and one high profile Bills QB who went right up to the cart to give the dejected Darnold his get wells and condolences...
  8. Can we just cut him already? Get him off the team and let's move onto the season without this stain and distraction on the team.
  9. Me too... when the heck is kickoff? Gonna be irritated if they don't switch
  10. Cut him. Unfortunately for him (but luckily for us), he's a freakin punter. I don't care if he's the greatest punter in the history of the NFL. He's a punter. The ramifications for the team itself are minor. Just tell Josh Allen he and the offense have to score on every drive or go for it every 4th down if we have to. I'd honestly rather have no punter on the team than a guy with an accusation like this (that actually has legs) looming over his head at one of the least important positions on a football team... especially one with such a prolific offense. The whole "innocent until proven guilty" is all fine and good in the legal system, but that's not how it works in pro sports. This is clearly NOT a baseless accusation with no merit. If it was, things would be different. Guys who get these types of accusations thrown at them and never debunk them as completely outlandish never fully recover their reputations. And all the guys who remained in the league only did so because they were great players at positions of importance. Cut him. This makes me sick to my stomach.
  11. Thanks for posting this. It was roughly week 4 or 5 of 2020 when Cowherd jumped on board.
  12. I think this is kinda his way of doing that. I remember listening to him after our week 1 win against the Jets in 2020 and I distinctly remember him being critical of Josh still with a bunch of statements about how Josh would always be a bit of an inaccurate QB who uses his legs. A few weeks later he was fully on the bandwagon. I think that's just how Cowherd admits he's wrong. He goes all in on the player when he realizes they're actually good. He did something similar with Joe Burrow. Agreed. He really came on board in 2020. And what's also interesting is that he mocked Josh to us in his final mock draft in 2018. I think the pick clearly worked out in a way he never expected.
  13. What the hell... why is Emmitt Smiths football life on?
  14. I've seen Singletary do similar things in the running game. Again... I guess he's fine as RB3, but I just think he's a poor man's Devin Singletary. And if he has any value in the trade market, why not exploit it?
  15. Guess I'm in the severe minority. I don't have a problem with Moss's speed or power... well... actually I think his power is overrated. As I type this I would say Moss is faster than I thought he'd be coming out of college but with less power. Ya know who he actually reminds me of? Devin Singletary with poorer vision... which was basically what I was getting at on that play. I don't think Singletary runs into the back of Morris like that and he makes the same play. And this isn't me touting Singletary as Barry Sanders... if anything for me it's just more of an indictment of Moss considering Singletary is, at best, an average RB. I would prefer Blackshear as RB3 myself
  16. And you watched that 27 yard run live and thought it was a good initial read?
  17. I'm gonna get trolled on this because "dude!!! He gained 27 yards!!!" but is there anyone else who watched that run and wasn't impressed? Sorry... if you watch the play and his initial read as he follows his block, it just looked like more confirmation he has poor vision as he basically ran into the backside of his blocker who was pretty early and clearly getting stuffed rather than bouncing earlier to the outside left, which he finally and eventually did. I mean I liked the speed and the play made me excited, but he looked so clumsy and lacking in vision and instincts in the first half of that play, didn't he?
  18. If you have a problem with this, you have a problem with most Elite CBs in the NFL throughout history
  19. Yeah... honestly our problem is that we need 5-7 seats all sitting next to each other. Well... we don't need it exactly, but that’s what my family wants. Cheapest tickets right now on seatgeek for 5 seats grouped together are 288 plus 97 bucks in taxes and fees. Nutty.
  20. I'm curious, but how much were the tickets? I'm visiting family that week and planned on going to the Steelers game with my sisters, brothers in law and niece and nephew. Actually I wanted to pay for my niece to go because she missed out on our last game. But the cheapest tickets are $330 after all the fees and taxes! Those are nosebleed tickets! I guess that might be normal now across the league, but is it?
  21. Guess I need to piggyback on this thread. I'm flying home (Rochester) to visit my family as I do every year in October. I was SO STOKED to see the Bills had a home game againstthe Steelers! Last time a home game coincided with my trip was 2015! I was all excited to go to the game with 6 family members, but HOLY CRAP!!!! Cheapest tickets we found after fees and taxes were STILL $330! I really, really want to go to a game and was planning to buy my niece's ticket since she wouldn't otherwise probably go, but that’s just crazy money. Anyone think it'll drop down significantly enough where taxes and fees and tickets are closer to $200-$250?
  22. Well... that could be because Wright at least showed some kind of sensibility after the Chiefs playoff game when he said Josh Allen terrifies him. Now he talks about Allen as the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the NFL. Once the season starts I'm sure he'll go back to being a Troll though. I think what Keyshaun said is as dumb as anything Wright ever said. Probably dumber because of his obstinate refusal to consider the last 2 years as evidence.
