  1. Anyone else get the feeling Davonta Freeman is going to be active and play a role?
  2. I'll just say I appreciate the response and move on if you so refuse to respond to those initial points while evidently expecting a response to these. You respond to a post like this where (you think, at least) you have a strong response and then completely ignore the conversation where right now "doth protest too much." You and I could be great representations of what should be happening over at that other board with all the posters who've fled for their echo chamber while kicking out all dissenting opinion. Do you want to have a conversation? Or do you want to win an argument? I say that not because I believe most on this message board want to have a conversation. I think almost anyone in a politics forum wants to win an argument. And that includes everyone that's here at this moment and everyone who fled to the other board. What was irritating to me over there was that every time I actually did a deep dive into the "voter fraud" that those posters over there presented, they ended up being accusations that were flawed, if not complete lies. I'm here if you want to have a conversation. I'm not like a lot of people on this board, though. My responses aren't necessarily immediate because I just might not have the time. But if it's you, I'll get back to you.
  3. Go away Detroit!!! That's our next OC!!!
  4. Yep. Trump's legacy will pretty much be as a 21st century Herbert Hoover
  5. Doesn't need it, but when the word "almost" precedes it, the word has been modified. "Everything one way or the other motivates them" So then you're conceding that players are using that national media attention or lack thereof for motivation. Thank you
  6. What was the word that preceded "universally?" Go google your power rankings and you might find one here or there that had Cleveland better than Indy. The vast majority of them had Indy better, though. I know because I already looked.
  7. Have you not been following your own contradictory logic? Direct quotes from you: I think there is little chance that Bills players are using the perception that they are not being talked about enough going into this game as any kind of motivation whatsoever. players aren't concerned with something as trivial as this entire subject. And yet even @Thurman#1 who's on your side with the argument says that Joe B in his podcast has been hearing from players that they are using it as motivation. Then you try shifting the narrative by clinging to Joe B's vague statement that the national media is actually picking Buffalo win the Super Bowl... which really isn't backed by anything. So the players are evidently using it as motivation. And you were wrong.
  8. This would be funny if it were hyperbole. Yes The_Dude is over there doing his thing, too.
  9. Well you're entitled to that, but most football people seem to disagree. Cleveland was lucky to get a reeling Pittsburgh team in round 1 and then a twice injured Patrick Mahomes in round 2. I looked through your list. The even slightly recognizable names are largely picking the Ravens
  10. Good lord that's the most random bunch of names I've ever seen. I also see things like "Yahoo users" and "ESPN picks" in there. This doesn't exactly qualify as national media... just an argument you obviously want to win.
  11. Is it just slipping everyone's mind that the Colts also beat the #4 seed Titans and #1 seed Packers in consecutive games AFTER the aforementioned Cleveland loss???
  12. 65% out of 29 picking the Ravens trumps your 60% of out of 16 picking the Bills.
  13. A bunch? Define "a bunch" and post links. I would think "a bunch" would be more than 3. Post 4.
  14. Clarity, huh? For whom? On what? As for the judiciary... what's interesting is I think that even if the Democrats don't do something wild like eliminate the filibuster and pack the courts, any Trump appointee at any level is now going to understand that they were appointed by an insurrectionist who might become the first ever convicted President in an impeachment trial. You conservatives don't like Roberts so much already. We've already seen Gorsuch and Kavenaugh break ranks and vote for more "liberal" causes. I want Biden and the Democrats to do everything in their power to pack the courts at all levels at this point, honestly. But even if they don't, Trump screwed his judicial appointees over with almost all future decisions in terms of objectivity. And I find it odd that you respond to this one rather than the other much more elaborate post directly to you the other day. I saw you responded to me, but when I clicked on it, it showed nothing. Perhaps a second thought?
  15. I was going to respond to more points you made. But this one here makes you moron of the year. Yep. It knows the Trump Presidency is finally coming to an end.
  16. I actually just consistently posted new images for him to use every other day because posting the same image and telling him to "man up" was me spamming the board. In the end, @Boyst62 wound up taking the avatar I posted for @Deranged Rhino because @Deranged Rhino has no integrity. That was all before they banned me on the eve of the 6th, when the insurrection happened. They've probably fully converted themselves from a faux Bills message board to a full 4-chan knock off already.
  17. They ended the season with the same record. According to FootballOutsiders' DVOA metric Indy was the 10th best team in the NFL and Cleveland was the 18th best. The Colts were almost universally considered a better team than the Browns.
  18. Just to let you know, Josh Allen said in a recent interview (I can't remember if it was the DP show or a post game interview or what) that he's been watching the national media. They pay attention. And if you think the negative or neglectful stuff isn't being used as fuel in some way, you're kidding yourself. Now, the sign of a well-coached team is one that channels the attention properly. Basically... ignore everything good said about you and pay extra attention to everything bad or any time you're "left out." That's what "bulletin board material" means. I don't think they're "worrying" about it. I bet they're using it as fuel, though.
  19. The truth is that the national media was pretty consistently picking the 5th seeded Ravens to beat the Bills last weekend. Fairburn and Buscaglia are pretty well on the Bills bandwagon and don't seem to be picking against them anymore. But they're part of the WNY media more than the national media. I'm noticing it's the guys who cover the Bills closely are the only guys picking them. That goes for the guy over at ESPN assigned to Buffalo, too. But the Bills players were correct that the Ravens were the perceived favorites outside of the local WNY media and guys assigned to Buffalo. For CBS Sports 6 out of 8 of the "experts" pick the Ravens. For ESPN 6 out of 9 picked the Ravens For USA Today 5 out of 7 picked the Ravens For Bleacherreport 2 out of 3 picked the Ravens Florio and Simms both picked the Ravens over the Bills... and no one's going to say they're Bills haters by any means Gregg Rosenthal picked the Ravens. It's not a "made-up" narrative.
