In the 2000's we were a bad team. Then in 07 the NFL gave us a mnf game and the bills blew it, even though to the average NFL fan, it was a great game. In 08, they gave us another game against the Browns and we lost by a missed fg from Lindell. Then in 09 the NFL let us open the season against the Patriots and we lost on a kick return fumble. Then in 15 they put us on mnf with the Pats and we lost. Then in 16 they put us on mnf with Seattle and we lost. Then in 18 they put us on mnf with the Patriots and we lost. I'm starting to see a pattern here....

It's simply bills fans being conditioned to be out coached, out played and losing football games. I lived through all the jauron years, the loss to the steelers 3rd stringers, the Chan Gailey years, the Marone and Rex years. All of it conditioned us to expect loss once the bills show any kind of conservatism or they are losing. Even a part of me knowing the bills are 9-3, still has this slight fear that they'll find a way to screw it up. That's one thing I love about McDermott though, he's willing to swallow his pride when need be and make changes if necessary

I'm fine without ab. This team really stepped it up the last 3 weeks and John brown is having a pro bowl season. Imo that's the definition of a number 1 reciever
