  1. Absolutely...one of the biggest things holding him back, along with inability to read defenses or the field imo
  2. See what happens when you throw the outlet Josh?
  3. Well, I’ve seen enough of Allen today...
  4. This is what scares me about Allen- you have no idea what you’re getting with each drop back...some plays he looks like an all pro....other plays he looks like EJ Manuel.
  5. No wonder he doesn’t like throwing the outlet pass
  6. I don’t think so but it should have been caught.
  7. Perfect pass by Allen and yet another drop
  8. I think we are talking about a different play but I agree with you on the one you are referring to Fair enough
  9. I’m just gonna agree to disagree on that...and the part about 90% of other receivers making the catch is purely speculation imo.
  10. That is fine, as my original point still holds true, that it wasn’t a perfect pass as some have claimed.
  11. Agreed...that’s where a little more touch on the pass makes all the difference
  12. Sorry, but there is a difference between putting the ball on the receiver and area code accuracy...just because it touches a receiver does not make a pass accurate...otherwise EJ Manuel would have been one of the most accurate passers in NFL history. ? And btw Joe, the graphic from behind the QB actually proves my point of the pass being low and away...so to answer your question, no- I don’t tire of being wrong...because I was right. ?
  13. If your definition of a drop is hitting the receiver in the hand, then yes...but I could also understand arguments the other way as well....and even if you decide to classify it as a drop, it still doesn’t change the fact that Allen’s throw was not as accurate as it could have been with a clean pocket and a wide open receiver...that should have been a 50 yard catch and run...and it’s throws like that that keep Allen hovering around 50% completions....if he can fix that in the offseason, sky is the limit with this kid.?
  14. Exactly what I thought...low and away and far from a perfect throw... but with a little more effort on Clay’s part, the catch could have been made...great screen shot here.
  15. Actually, I’m hopeful Allen will be more accurate by then. ?
  16. The pass to Clay was catchable, but it was, most definitely, not perfect...in fact, in real time, it appeared low and away...but with a little more effort, the catch could have been made.
  17. It’s easy to be a critic of Allen because you don’t have to do any work- it’s all there in the numbers...it’s actually harder to be optimistic about his future success when you take emotion out of it, and just based on the numbers.
  18. Not a fan of Jones...he seems like a #4 through #6 receiver imo...he will need to be upgraded on the outside.
  19. Good win...keep getting better
  20. My favorite part about the Allen hard count is that he didn’t celebrate like EJ
