    That particular case didn’t work out... but the talent was certainly there...and if he just had the work ethic required, we wouldn’t be worrying about Star...so while Marcell didn’t work out, we still need that type of elite skill.

    Exactly!!! I’ve been saying this for a while now...we are a rebuilding team but we have never had our tank year where we get a top 3 pick or are able to trade back for a boatload Of picks like the Browns or Rams or Jags...this team will need those things to help it get competitive more quickly imo.

    It will be impossible for Mack to ever live up to that contract, let alone the draft capital traded for him... Raiders won the trade hands down imo

    People are just upset because, just as Todd McShay said he would, EJ set the franchise back another 5 years- after we were already 13 years into the drought.

    Yup... I actually think, as good as Mack is, the Raiders won this trade- if the are, in deed, getting two 1sr rounders for him...imo you just don’t give up that kind of capital for a non QB.

    The Browns story hasn’t been written yet... but by the looks of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if they finished ahead of us. i like McBeane but I have to admit they have made a few questionable decisions.

    I think we will actually need a few of those seasons to actually get better...only way to infuse blue chip players at the top of the draft- just like ‘84 & ‘85 Bills.

    Because our head coach is a defensive coach first, so he is more concerned with that side of the ball FIRST.
