It never has before. People always say this, yet it doesn't really happen. Small businesses in Seattle didn't collapse after implementing $15 minimum wages like the right said they would. We definitely need to help small businesses more and big corporations less, though. My general philosophy is that we should make it easier for people and small businesses to reach the median level of success while constantly working to raise the floor of what we allow for the least of our countrymen. Generally, it's already the way our progressive tax system is setup, except it doesn't actually work the way it should.

This argument supposes that this isn't happening anyway. It's been happening for decades and isn't going to stop even if we allow slave labor. The solution is finding a better path forward. There's never been a shortage of work to do, even now. As for outsourcing, that's a problem separate from wages that needs its own solution.

They likely will start doing that soon in compassionate care cases, but as with any drug you'll want to make sure it doesn't make people sicker that would probably pull through without it. Personally I'm in favor of being aggressive, and if I was in a bed I'd sign off as a guinea pig

I solve problems for a living. It's my profession. When they hit core business they're solved in hours, days and weeks - not months, years or never. If Trump was on my team, he'd never make it out of the probationary window.
