  1. Ron DeSantis may be the 2024 Republican presidential candidate. If they write the stories now to form a narrative of incompetence, the "msm" considers that a huge win. They can then refer back to those stories in 4 years as "fact." That none of it is true does not bother them in the least. Promote Cuomo (for 2024?) and kick Ron DeSantis (for 2024?)... long game of the "msm." The gaslighting we have been subject to the last 4 years has truly been incredible.
  2. I put all the blame on China for unleashing this virus, and then being dishonest and deceitful about it. The WHO gets blamed for covering for them, and continuing the Chinese lies and deceit. If the CDC and Fauci lied about it while being paid by the Chinese to do so (I have heard no evidence of this, have you?), then I would also blame them.
  3. Crazy state... Oregon sues feds over Portland protests as unrest continues PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon’s attorney general is seeking an order to stop militarized federal agents from arresting people in Portland as the city continues to be convulsed by nightly protests that have gone on for seven weeks and have now pitted local officials against the Trump administration. </snip>
  4. Good. I hope he is correct. Side note: Maria Bartiromo is the one of the few "woman of a certain age" I have seen that does not look better with lighter hair. She looks much better with her reddish-brown undertones and caramel highlights.
  5. Some of it is getting cut off. Wow on that declined number... I cannot imagine what is trying to infiltrate his group.
  6. New Visit Portland ad campaign? The chamber of commerce must be thrilled.
  7. Missouri governor says pardon likely if St. Louis homeowners charged A pardon is 'exactly what would happen,' he says Missouri Gov. Mike Parson says he is prepared to exercise his pardon powers if prosecutors bring criminal charges in the case of a St. Louis couple who brandished firearms at a group of protesters outside their home. </snip> Parson told 97.1 FM the McCloskeys "did what they legally should do," according to The Hill newspaper. "A mob does not have the right to charge your property,” he said, according to the paper. “They had every right to protect themselves.” Parson linked to the interview on Twitter and added the comment, “We will not allow law-abiding citizens to be targeted for exercising their constitutional rights." </snip> Here is the tweet with the link to the interview:

  9. The administration's covid team still has a weekly call with every governor. Since the pressers stopped, I know people were wondering.
  10. and because I sincerely doubt people are following her guidelines on how to take care of theirs masks:
  11. More: ap news </snip> Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino announced in a statement Saturday the federal government had denied the request, confirming what an official familiar with the matter had told The Associated Press earlier. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak ahead of the announcement. The team had been given clearance by city and provincial governments to play regular-season games at Rogers Centre and was awaiting approval from Canada’s federal government. </snip> “We have shared this news with the Blue Jays organization. We remain open to considering future restart plans for the postseason should the risk of virus transmission diminish. We wish the Blue Jays the best of luck as they start the regular season,” Mendicino said. </snip> Meh the article itself says "or" The Blue Jays will play their home games in Buffalo, N.Y. or Dunedin, Fla. this season after the federal government rejected a plan that would have allowed them to use the Rogers Centre.
  12. This is what twitter is reporting about the hack on their blog. Those 8 accounts? DMs too? And which 8 accounts? An update on our security incident </snip> The attackers successfully manipulated a small number of employees and used their credentials to access Twitter’s internal systems, including getting through our two-factor protections. As of now, we know that they accessed tools only available to our internal support teams to target 130 Twitter accounts. For 45 of those accounts, the attackers were able to initiate a password reset, login to the account, and send Tweets. We are continuing our forensic review of all of the accounts to confirm all actions that may have been taken. In addition, we believe they may have attempted to sell some of the usernames. For up to eight of the Twitter accounts involved, the attackers took the additional step of downloading the account’s information through our “Your Twitter Data” tool. This is a tool that is meant to provide an account owner with a summary of their Twitter account details and activity. We are reaching out directly to any account owner where we know this to be true. None of the eight were verified accounts. </snip>
  13. Orrrrrrr get your butt to the polling center and cast your vote in person! I'd prefer a purple finger. I'd settle for voter ID. I'll get massive mail-in fraud.
  14. This is interesting: (I certainly hope Lisa Page is not in the clear.)
  15. Why do they keep repeating this? Durham has not spoken out. Durham is not issuing a report, he's the guy doing the indicting. A report is "not the goal" should be taken to mean... no report. It is as if the press is purposely misunderstanding this. Barr: Durham’s focused on indictments, not a report Jason Chaffetz: Indictments Doug Collins: 'There won’t be a report' from John Durham
  16. Yeah, that will not lead to any sort of cheating, no way, no how. Thousands of absentee ballots tossed in tight Maloney-Patel House race </snip> On Thursday, the four candidates called on the BOE to count every absentee ballot that was invalidated because the U.S. Postal Service did not postmark the envelope or because the BOE received the ballots after June 30. “Put bluntly: A missing postmark, over which voters had no control, should not disenfranchise those voters,” the candidates wrote. “We stand together in asking Governor Cuomo to update his executive order to permit the Board of Elections to accept all absentee ballots received without a postmark,” they added. </snip>
  17. I don't think it is going so well for her...
  18. Original tweet that did not age well: CNN interview link For some reason, twitter is not showing the newest responses with the most interaction first.
  19. LOL so this is how the media is gonna play it? "Stunning" as in they had no idea?

  21. Hackers Tell the Story of the Twitter Attack From the Inside The interviews indicate that the attack was not the work of a single country like Russia or a sophisticated group of hackers. Instead, it was done by a group of young people — one of whom says he lives at home with his mother — who got to know one another because of their obsession with owning early or unusual screen names, particularly one letter or number, like @y or @6. The Times verified that the four people were connected to the hack by matching their social media and cryptocurrency accounts to accounts that were involved with the events on Wednesday. They also presented corroborating evidence of their involvement, like the logs from their conversations on Discord, a messaging platform popular with gamers and hackers, and Twitter. </snip> But the identity of Kirk, his motivation and whether he shared his access to Twitter with anyone else remain a mystery even to the people who worked with him. It is still unclear how much Kirk used his access to the accounts of people like Mr. Biden and Mr. Musk to gain more privileged information, like their private conversations on Twitter. </snip> Mr. O'Connor said other hackers had informed him that Kirk got access to the Twitter credentials when he found a way into Twitter’s internal Slack messaging channel and saw them posted there, along with a service that gave him access to the company’s servers. People investigating the case said that was consistent with what they had learned so far. A Twitter spokesman declined to comment, citing the active investigation. </snip>
