I'm not certain how much more the Feds can do than what they came out with today.

I mentioned it before, but until we came home Saturday, the country who took this most seriously that we entered the last three months was Morocco. The way people live there, on top of one another, there would be no such thing as social distancing. That would be a case of you better have the antibodies, and get well soon. So, they were quite vigilant in keeping out the Chinese. Now, I have no idea what happened with the Italians, and the Spanish/Morocco border is like the US/Canada (where we were in Spain there were no reported cases), so it may just be a matter of time, but there are some third-world countries that were aware of their limitations early on.

I said to my mother yesterday that I completely agree with the nursing homes being shut off to visitors (even though I know how horrible that will be for residents). I also see the value in shutting down Senior Centers. My mother's response? "We all gotta die of something." Now, I did go on to explain to her that this is not the thing you want to die of. Gasping for air is no way to go. She, like me, does not fear death and only wants it to be quick and painless. If I had a relative with COPD I would do what you are doing. Even though there was no hair on fire over the coronovirus when we returned to the US in February, I did not want to visit my father in the nursing home. Prudence, practiced for those most susceptible, is understandable.

Since we are under 14 day self-quarantine after getting home from Europe on Saturday, we have to do online shopping (we did have friends offer to shop for us and drop off in our foyer, but we hate to impose). Dash's suspended delivery. Tops was a Monday (late) delivery when we started the order, and we were pushed to a Tuesday morning delivery by the time we completed our order. Whole Foods had no delivery times available, and I just checked my cart again and the "No delivery windows available. Please come back later." message is still up. ?‍♂️
