12/15/24 Week 15 Bills @ Lions Game day Thread

Somewhere in between probably. If they do give up 40 plus, get ready for the take Ben Johnson back on the plane instead of McDermott jokes going around. -
Defense is built to stop average and below offenses.

You are aware he’s just a running back. Correct? -
They’d have to sign him to the 53 so no. Yes.
-
The third QB needs to be on your active roster for him to be considered the "emergency QB" that doesn't count against the game day actives. White isn't on the active roster so the Bills can't use him as an emergency QB.

Vegas disagrees. We showed we can beat the Chiefs and out defense should be fine if we play Denver or the Colts in the WC round. We'd pry just need two elite offensive performances to win it all. The only way he's fired after this year is if Allen personally threatens to be traded if McDermott isn't fired. That's the only way imo barring McDermott stealing Pegula's patio furniture or something. -
There's a reason they're twitter docs.

They must really like Mike White to give him two game day checks now. He could easily be Josh's backup next year.

Cleveland will pry run it back with Stefanski so I see Schwartz staying in Cleveland. McDermott has a better chance of being struck by lightning than get fired by Pegula this off-season. -

Agreed. Our 2020 defense was average at best from what I remember. We made one or two opportunistic stops on defense in that Colts game on 4th down but our offense bailed us out. The only good performance by this defense against a top 10 NFL offense in the playoffs was against the Ravens in 2020 and you could make a persuasive argument that weather played a factor in that one. We then got steamrolled by KC in the AFC Championship game. To win in the playoffs this year our offense is pry going to have to win three shootouts starting in the divisional round (possible but unlikely) because I have little faith in our defense against great offenses. -
Do you think he reads this message board?

Elam's been here three years now. He knows the system. It was always a bad pick given his strengths and weaknesses.

Easier said than done stopping their running game as we learned on the Sunday Night shellacking week 4.
-
If they looked at the analytics it would say to pass it there. The reality on the field is we have maybe the 2nd best QB in the league with the tush push. Nobody here would've complained about the call if he got in which he usually does. However, it was obviously still the wrong call as Brady admitted.
-
Then you run the same risk as QB sneaking it with a lower probability of success. Unless you're talking about rolling out for a pass and only running if there's a clear path to the endzone.
-
Your claiming their script is to try and fail again? If that's the case I feel bad for Ravens fans.

He played well in the Houston game last year. 151 yards passing, 100 yards rushing, 2 TD's, O INT's, and a 121.8 passer rating. Then Monken bizarrely decided to go pass happy against the Chiefs after watching us run it down their throats the week before. If the Ravens can stick to their script this year with a run heavy approach with both Lamar and Henry they could easily win the AFC.
-
We scored TD's on our first and third possession last week so we did get going early. It was a horrible defensive effort and special team mistakes that sunk the Bills.
-
I know it's only 1 to 3% for the Bengals to make the playoffs depending on the model you subscribe too but here is there path to the playoffs if they win out. If Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and Brown get on a heater they're hard to stop defensively I know their defense is terrible but Anorumu has made great defensive playoff adjustments in the past. They're the only potential Wild Card team that scares me.

Would you sign up right now for a Buffalo at Kansas City AFCCG?

No. I want to host the Broncos. -
The Lions have got to be everyone’s second favourite team…right?

Oh yeah. I remember you. Sorry about that. Weird time in my life. -

I hit my head on a corner of a counter trying to pick up a fallen plastic spoon the one time I got "knocked out." Lol. -
Never risk the interception.
