They need to prioritize getting this guy the ball as often as possible. If Daboll is this great offensive mind he should be able to come up with schemes to do that even if defenses are committing extra resources to try and contain him.
Yeah. He had two crap games against the Chiefs and Titans after starting out red hot if I remember correctly. The first Pats game wasn't his best performance either and was bailed out by Justin Zimmer. That and without the pass interference on 4th down against the Rams we could've easily been 4-4 at this same point last year.
The bigger issue is every year they add more opportunities to call penalties by adding new rules (taunting, low blocks this year). It's making the game unwatchable.
Not accepting that holding penalty to take them out of field goal range was odd. I understand the percentages that the kicker won't make it but put some faith in your pass defense to make sure.
They aren't bickering yet. It's always worse than it seems. Some real soul searching is going to go on and I haven't lost my faith in this team ending the year as the #1 seed. You'll never see the offense play as bad as it did today.
