  1. Money talks. They don't give Knox a 4 years 52 million dollar deal (31.2 million guaranteed) if they were down on him. They wanted a true slot guy to replace Beasley and Kinkaid was the best solution they could come up with.
  2. Can our offense just switch to them in the red zone?
  3. Watched two and 1/2 episodes and here are my impressions so far as it's a well done show. -Mahomes and Allen seem to have the exact same personalities on the field. They can get overly emotional during a game and that can be a good or bad thing depending on the circumstance. -Kirk Cousins is the most interesting of the three. If Mr. Rodgers was born in '88 and played QB he'd be Kirk Cousins. Tough as hell though, a hard worker, and an easy guy to root for considering he was a 4th round pick in the same draft the Redskins took RG3. YOU LIKE THAT -Marcus Mariota is a pretty reserved kid who comes across as boring.
  4. He'd pry suggest to rehire Leslie Frazier to run our offense.
  5. At least you answered your own question. His short term accuracy was pretty bad post elbow injury so it made more sense to go for the big play considering the high variance that play could produce.
  6. There weren't as many wtf calls/sequences with Dorsey compared to Daboll. Daboll's in game adjustments were better though and they played some of their strongest ball in the playoffs.
  7. Number two ranked offense (both points and yards) that didn't see a dip in production post Daboll. That's despite losing Beasley and Sanders along with Josh's elbow injury. Not that surprising.
  8. I really hope Torrence is the player the Bills expect him to be. Will be facing a lot of elite DT’s every year.
  9. That’s how I look at it. If not, TO would be number 81.
  10. Good call. I'd also put Aaron Schobel over Mario Williams.
  11. Bennett was better than Hughes.
  12. Well, the Hall of Stats has Marino, Fouts, Tarkenton, and Moon in. Eli refused to play for the Chargers because he viewed them as an unstable organization. Phillip Rivers is one of the main reasons they only had four losing seasons out of 14. Eli had a .500 record, was never considered a top five quarterback at any point in his career, and was really just a good (not great) quarterback that's best traits were durability along with longevity. The two Super Bowl runs were all about the defense as they only gave up 14, 17, 20, and 14 in their first Super Bowl run in 2008. Then only gave up 2, 20, 17, and 17 in 2011 in their second Super Bowl run. He made an iconic throw in each Super Bowl and the first one was really fricken lucky. I just don't think those two magical playoff runs is enough to mask a career where he was never considered an elite QB despite his last name.
  13. That's a really good point. I guess you either have it or you don't when you're a highly recruited WR prospect. Does DK Metcalf count?
  14. Looks like he's officially a Chief.
  15. Brings you back to the feelings we all had that night. So thankful he's alive. Very nice tribute and well deserved.
  16. It's a fascinating draft class in 2004 (besides Losman). Rivers, Roethlisberger, and Eli each played at least 16 years and their games played are really close. Rivers started 240, Roethlisberger 247, and Eli with 234. Rivers has eight pro bowls, Roethlisberger has six, and Eli has four. Rivers and Roethlisberger are better by a healthy margin over Eli in passer rating, passing yards, passing TD's, and completion percentage. Rivers is just a tiny bit better than Roethlisberger in all of those categories except passing yards but they're really close. Eli is noticeably behind in all categories. Then you have the playoff and Super Bowl success category. Eli won two of two Super Bowls against the dynasty Patriots winning Super Bowl MVP both times. Roethlisberger won two Super Bowls (not an MVP though in either game) and lost one. The farthest Rivers ever got was an AFC Championship game. However, the Chargers weren't as stable as a franchise as the Steelers and Giants so how much do you put the lack of postseason success on him. I would definitely put Roethlisberger in, probably put Rivers in, and leave Eli out. I tend to lean more to overall stats though above postseason success because wins aren't a QB stat. '
  17. Not a Dezmon Patmon believer I take it. It's tough because we don't know what he's demanding. I do agree we're thin at WR though and that falls on Beane. However, you can still win a Super Bowl with an elite WR and a bunch of JAG's elsewhere.
  18. The Ravens were more desperate as they don't have a Diggs. Plus, I wonder how much of that was to get Lamar to lower his fully guaranteed contract demand by showing him they were serious about giving him some weapons.
  19. I think he regrets the Von Miller contract and is hesitant to commit a lot of money/cap space to another 30 plus year old free agent. I'll admit that I'd have mixed feelings if he did break the bank for Hopkins too as visions of Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, and Roy Williams dance through my head.
  20. Weird swipe at Damar but they're not going to cut a quality backup who will now have three years in their system at a cost controlled rookie deal.
  21. It was. Just bad reporting on whoever Greg Price is. However, she did say the Biden's weren't at the White House on that Friday so she lied. She needs to lay off the cocaine.
  22. Am I missing something as spotrac has Murray as counting only $1.09 million against the cap with $152k signing bonus? We only save about $210k by cutting him.
  23. Biden already beat all of them in 2020 besides Newsom and you lose the advantage of being the incumbent. You are right though that strategically for the party it would be best for Biden to announce right now he’s not running for reelection. If he is running again the whole party should throw their support behind him showing unity and perseverance a year and a half out.
  24. That’s why Biden is running again despite the dementia. They have a Kammy problem.
