White jerseys, blue pants against the Chiefs in KC.
Doc Brown replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Except for all blue (smurfs) and all red (vomit)....... any jersey combo looks great to me. -
Agreed. Just look at the top ten teams with the most dead cap money this year. The Bucs, Rams, and Packers went all in while the rest o the teams are either dysfunctional and/or signed some awful contracts (the Cardinals alone are eating 5.9 million in dead cap for their Jordan Phillips deal which is hilarious). Only two (Eagles and Texans) are above .500. How the Eagles have such a good roster still is a testament to Roseman. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: $75.32MM Los Angeles Rams: $74.23MM Green Bay Packers: $57.14MM Philadelphia Eagles: $54.73MM Carolina Panthers: $51.54MM Arizona Cardinals: $36.96MM Tennessee Titans: $36.56MM Minnesota Vikings: $35.54MM Houston Texans: $31.72MM Las Vegas Raiders: $29.95MM

I suggest the Cover 1 podcast if you really want to get in the weeds. To be fair, Greg did say that we're pry going to have to keep Josh's contract structure in place and take their medicine in either this year or next year. He guessed 2025. He's more bullish on Diggs skills not declining over the next two seasons than I am.

Game thread: MNF Cincinnati at Jacksonville
Doc Brown replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's pry short term if it's a sprained ankle. A lot of pain to go through though. -
The intentional grounding on Allen with a WR in the area when he was clearly horse collared may have been the worst against the Eagles. Maybe not as bad as the intentional grounding against the Bengals though. At this point with the Chiefs coming up, do we just opt to take the ball after the opening kickoff at the 15 to make it 2nd and 20 to get the inevitable out of the way?

It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line
Doc Brown replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
You're sticking with the Bills are 7-0 after their bye week since 2017 despite it being mathematically impossible. I admire your persistence. -

Doc Brown replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently. I'm arguing with someone where basic math makes it literally impossible for the Bills to be 7-0 off their bye week since 2017. -

Definitely meaningless but I was just answering the question. -

McDermott is 6-0 after their bye week. I have no idea what that site considers a bye. -

We're 6-0 since 2017 coming off a bye-week I believe unless you're just extremely optimistic. -
Four best teams are pry Michigan, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama. Who I'm guessing will get in (and deserve to) is Michigan, Washington, Florida State, and Texas.

McDermott's Two Minute Defense This Year vs Past Seasons
Doc Brown replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree and it could be a mixture of both. McDermott said he wants to take over play calling but wanted Frazier to remain on staff as a mentor to the player and advisor. Frazier didn't want to give up the play calling so he resigned. I don't even think there's any personal grudge between the two. Just seems like the simplest explanation to me. -

No. Menendez has gotten away with far worse. -

Yes. I want exactly 7.5 points per quarter. -

Both are preferable. The middle as well. -

Good. Now the Senate should do the same to Menendez. -

What happened to the offense in both of those games after going up early? It's why we hear about complimentary football ad nauseam. -

True. She called the police so her comments don't exactly align. Who knows what happened between now and when she made those comments. -

Sources say ZERO PERCENT chance McD is fired
Doc Brown replied to Brand J's topic in The Stadium Wall
Money talks which is why the contract extensions before the season told me McD was never in jeopardy of losing his job. Especially for an owner who holds the Steelers model in such high regard. I just hope we can keep Brady on as OC and nobody snags him as a Head Coach. -

Hopefully they come out sooner than him getting pressure on the QB this season. -

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Doc Brown replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Out of curiosity, do they have charts like this for previous seasons? I remember this defense being pretty good at closing out games early in McD's tenure. I'm just wondering if it's a talent thing with all the injuries McD fails to consider.
