  1. Who would be the best sale high candidate for the Bills? Christian Benford maybe. Rousseau?
  2. There were no women in that ad. Were their wives busy making them a sandwich?
  3. I can't believe you spent that much time on a joke. It got a chuckle from me though.
  4. I was raised secular so I'm genuinely curious. Was using whole wheat bread to break bread the reason he was given the death sentence?
  5. Just rumors from what I remember and trading away your best offensive player doesn't make much sense to me.
  6. The call would pry go something like this. "Hi, this is Brandon. We're interested in trading for DK Metcalf. Hello?"
  7. If you're going to throw out random Sehawks why not reach a little higher with DK Metcalf?
  8. Samuel was a full go at practice today and I still haven't given up on him. Other than that, I'm actually terrified on how bad this offense might look this Monday night which may draw record ratings with the latest Jets/Rodgers drama.
  9. Good decision running the ball there.
  10. I guess Geno started writing back.
  11. Rooting for a Subway Series. The top two payrolls in baseball should always get to the World Series.
  12. I think the 49ers learned their lesson with giving Jimmy G to that record contract. Shanahan will find his Sam Darnold.
  13. Seattle's defense is trash but nice kick return.
  14. How do you win half a game?
  15. I think if McDermott pulls a hammy he'll still be able to coach.
  16. They have Garrett Wilson. We're more desperate. At least we should be.
  17. He didn't know they'd down it at the four. A touchback and you have it at the 20 with two time outs left and 40 seconds to get into field goal range. However, given how poor are passing attack was I'd have accepted the 10 second run off. No matter what decision he made on the run off though he'd receive criticism for either being too aggressive or too conservative.
  18. Oh, absolutely. The faux outrage is just as bad in sports as it is in politics. I do remember at the time though wishing Tua wouldn't miss time because I thought Bridgewater was better. Then he got concussed the following game.
  19. Blindsided? LOL. "Woody, I thought we agreed to wait until the evening so it didn't mess with my McAfee appearance."
  20. Besides the Baltimore game they've been pretty good considering all the injuries. Our offense doesn't have that excuse and they're the reason we lost the Houston game.
  21. Defense isn't the problem. I don't want him even as a consultant as I don't want his shadow over Babich as we need to find out of he's a competent defensive coordinator.
  22. Higher win %. Yes. They perform about the same ATS though. A team may be more motivated if they hated their head coach. Also, usually when a head coach gets fired when they're coming off some games where there's some unlucky statistical randomness (turnovers, unlucky bounces, etc.) and a regression to the mean is bound to happen. You got some of that in the Denver game where the weather was awful and the London game where Rodgers uncharacteristically threw three int's.
  23. Anybody who's watched football over the last 20 years knows there's no way they're overturning that ruling on the field. Even the announcers admitted at the end it wouldn't have been overturned after thinking it through.
