  1. Trubisky is a better QB than Kyle Allen. More mobile. Stronger arm. Career completion percentage is about the same. He's a perfectly suitable backup for an elite QB. Key word. Backup.
  2. What I saw reported was they had a verbal agreement he'd play out the 2024 season under his current deal and then they'd work out a long term extension. Reddick changed his mind though apparently.
  3. Seems we have this conversation every year. Putting any significant money behind an elite QB on their second contract is a poor allocation of resources. Heck, we went with a worse backup last year in Kyle Allen. You'll accept Trubisky as the backup and there's nothing you can do about it. As far as a 3rd QB, what's Chad Kelly doing? I kid. Kind of.
  4. Yeah. I've been impressed with the Harris team's strategy. They're now moving towards the middle as you typically do after "winning" the primaries. Their official story isn't Biden is too senile to run for president but that he wants to step down to pave the way for the next generation. WTF that means. He's perfectly fine the next five months though. SMH. Republicans aren't pushing that message out their effectively when it comes to invoking the 25th. The real danger of Biden stepping down from a democratic strategic perspective is it will prevent her from spending all her energy and resources on the campaign.
  5. Yup. Josh still throws for about 4100 yards last year if you project the seven regular season games to 17 under Brady. The sharps are factoring in the loss of Diggs/Davis and the possibility of injury.
  6. Worried about James Cook overall. Dancing behind the line of scrimmage and missing that blitz pickup on Saturday. Training camp reports of continued concentration drops that were a killer last year.
  7. He never called her border czar if you want to get technical.
  8. I think he said it but we've been told that Biden is a senile old man who doesn't know what he's saying half the time. Like killing medicare.
  9. It's a very weird dynamic because VP's are generally seen as useless. John Adams called the vice presidency "the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived." They don't have a defined role like Secretary of State, Education, etc.. so they don't have the risk of being fired. All they really do of significance is break ties in the Senate. Dick Cheney is pry the exception to the rule. Maybe Walter Mondale too. I really don't know how much that means in terms of Harris striking the balance of taking the positives that happened under Biden while distancing herself from the negatives. She could just say politely the old man everyone thought was too senile to run for reelection was too stubborn to implement the new policies I'm proposing. How many of the few people still on the fence will buy it? Who knows. This is a first in American politics.
  10. Winter, fall, spring, and summer in that order. Just happens to coincide with how much time the in-laws are in Florida.
  11. I agree but it's working. Tax cuts for the wealthy and big corporations are not popular though.
  12. It was week 2 but Allen's first start. Kenny Pickett embarrasses Josh Allen as Bills quarterback struggles on pre-season start
  13. Smart. Really smart. She knows it's popular and since she was given basically nothing to do as Vice President she can basically cut herself off from Biden.
  14. Pathetic effort but I'd rather have that then a significant injury to a starter (look at Hollywood Brown). Oliver going down early and Josh scrambling was nerve-wracking.
  15. Yeah. Go to the once in East Aurora. It's smaller so it's easier to nail them every time. Just be prepared to wait unless you go on off hours.
  16. He wouldn't have requested a trade then.
  17. He also was pry the first prominent Democrat operative to smartly advise the party to ax Biden after that debate.
  18. Money is the obvious answer but if he's thinking of a 3rd contract it makes sense to nix the Pats and Browns. I think he's trying SF to get within the ballpark of those deals.
  19. I'm actively rooting for him to fail and help tear that team apart. Does that make me a bad person? Absolutely.
  20. He'll fit right in.
  21. Because since Biden dropped out she's pulled into a statistical dead heat against Trump without doing any interviews. The debate (or debates) are the only thing that's going to matter anyways as the most eyeballs will be on them along with the excessive media coverage that comes afterwards.
  22. Just don't go full Idiocracy on us with celebrities (Hogan, Kid Rock, Dana White) like the RNC did. It's a low bar to clear but I'm not sure if the Dems are capable.
  23. I've heard that criticism before and I still have no clue what that means. Dorsey to me was a reactive and predictable play caller. I don't think it was an accident the turnovers went down when Dorsey was fired. His in game adjustments weren't great either. I'm not sold on Brady yet either but like that this team stylistically is changing on offense. Evolve or die.
