I trust Stafford more than Purdy. Rams will win this.
-
They're not on turf? Rams are used to a dome too. Stafford's played in one his whole career.

These two teams and coaches know each other so well. Just great defensive game plans.

Pegula Interview on new limited partners
Doc Brown replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought he grew up a Steelers fan which is why I never thought McDermott's job was never in danger as long as we were competitive each year. Now that I know he's a Lions fan it's even less likely with all the losing he saw over the last 60 years. -
It's not as a team but it's pry Josh's biggest regular season game as far as his legacy goes up to this point in his career. If he had a good game and we win he's winning MVP. He'd have to have an elite game like he did last week if we lose though. I can already seeing the MVP voters pivoting to Barkley if he breaks Dickerson's record if Josh has a lousy or subpar game.

The Lions have got to be everyone’s second favourite team…right?
Doc Brown replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
They're a likable team. I'd try to run through a brick wall for Campbell but would be knocked out unconscious. Goff was basically kicked out of town by the Rams and left for dead. They built their team the right way and know who they are. Their fans deserve to at least go to a Super Bowl and lose to us. -
Opinions on this wonderful 2024 Bills season at 10-3

If they keep Beane, McDermott and Allen together they’ll get it done. The laws of probability will prevail and those calling for McDermott’s head will humbly admit they were “glad they were wrong.” -

I know but it's absurd to me that people don't think McDermott will ever win a Super Bowl. Bill Cowher, Andy Reid, and Tony Dungy faced similar criticisms. -

Steelers were the #1 seed in the '92-'93 season and we beat them in the Divisional round. A young Bill Cowher coached team who many people said could never win a Super Bowl. -
Week 15, Bills v. Lions, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Doc Brown replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills - 3 Lions - 0 -
The last time we wore these we were coming off a loss and playing in a dome where we got beat by Houston. Good decision guys. Some people love black licorice and pineapple pizza too. It really doesn't bother me but I'll never understand it.

If the Steelers lose to the Eagles and then win out their strength of victory will be higher than ours and conference record would be the same. That's assuming we lose to the Lions and sweep the rest of the season. Our conference record would also be identical. If they can beat the Ravens, Chiefs, and Bengals than they deserve the two seed anyways.

There goes all of Beane's leverage for the conditional 7th round pick in 2027 for Elam that Beane was going to try and pull off this off-season.
-
Whatever. It's still light years better than a four team playoff.

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
Doc Brown replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
I knew somebody would crack the code of McDermott's zone heavy defense eventually. It only took seven and a half seasons. -
What do you have against Sam Monson?

Bills record in one score games including playoffs under McDermott: 2017: 6-3 2018: 3-3 2019: 4-6 2020: 6-1 2021: 0-6 2022: 7-3 2023: 7-7 2024: 3-2 Overall: 35-31 Bills don't lose often. When they do it's usually in one score games where every coaching decision will usually be ignored if the Bills win but magnified if the Bills lose. It's just the way it is when you're a perennial contender.

"Coach. You know if we went for two after every touchdown we'd have won by four." "Yes Josh. You give me that stat every week no matter the score."
-
Plus, by volunteering at his press conference that they only had nine men on the field he subtly threw Smiley under the bus.

There used to be this joke that the Eagles should have a relief coach come in for Reid in the final five minutes in the game. I wonder what he did personally to get much better at it or did he hire someone?
-
That was pry his best game plan (plus give credit to Flores) in his career at least in all his Super Bowls as a coach and coordinator. That includes his game plan against us in '91 and the Rams in '01 (especially with the cheating). It's also why I can't stand the sentiment among some people that Belichick was nothing without Brady.
